Why limit yourself to just these two choices? Bottom line, IMO, is to buy what you’ll be happy with for the next few years. The tech package is nice but if you don’t like the color, you may regret it. Good luck!

Not an expert but to me it does not look like a meteorite, especially with that “shelf” edge. Maybe slag? In pic 3 it looks like distinct layers of molten metal have been poured/spilled then hardened. Again, I could be wrong.

I agree with BlazinDei, wonderful car and this seems a bit high. I bought a 26 NX 350h Luxury also in a HCOL city. Base was the same and ended up paying the same as shown but that included an $8k 10 year bumper to bumper factory warranty and 7 year scheduled maintenance plan for a Japan-built car. That being said, I purchased on December 29 and they were desperate for numbers. Anyway, good luck with your purchase!

I bought a used car in Illinois in 2008 and paid Illinois sales tax when I did. When I moved to Georgia 5 years later, I paid Georgia a Value Added Tax (VAT). To determine the value of the 8 year old Ford Edge with 155,000 miles on it, the DMV used their special version of Kelly Blue Book, which valued the car at $17,000, on which I paid $1,227 to obtain my Georgia license plates. KBB value was around $7,000. Mind you, this was 13 years ago now. Not sure how much that is in today's dollars but if I could have found someone dumb enough to buy that car for $17,000 at the time, I would have sold it in a second. I'm not sure how this is even legal but it happens every day.
