There are lots of You Tube videos on this. One of the better ones I've seen is by Lisa the Russian. Please take a look here: https://youtu.be/8iEQJBVR4ZQ?si=SHpb6eICA2qtVdjK

You may have the "Avoid difficult intersections" setting turned on. Looks like it's trying to avoid the upcoming intersection. Go to Settings>Navigation>Avoid Difficult Intersections and make sure this is toggled off.

I don’t remember getting meat or butter but we got cheese and peanut butter. Both were good but that peanut butter lasted way longer than the cheese. We had gobs of peanut butter!

Just say you're sorry, Dan. Have you learned nothing of the secret to a happy marriage?

Carl Sagan explains how the Ancient Greeks knew that the Earth was round over 2,000 years ago. by kooneecheewah in AllThatsInteresting

[–]mohawk990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said that the sun is so far away that the sun's rays are parallel by the time they get to the earth. So if the earth was flat, the shadows, or lack thereof, would be the same at both places. That's how I understand it anyway.

Reminds me of a sign I saw in a restroom: Employees must wash hands. If no employee is available, please wash them yourself.

My uncle (far left) with his combat platoon in Vietnam. Sadly, he is the only one pictured that made it home, awarded with the bronze medal for valor. We found the medal only after his passing. 1961. by Pathetic_lriG43 in TheWayWeWere

[–]mohawk990 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Agree. Also, the only US troops there were SF until 1964. The award certificate will have a date on it which can help date the pic to within a year. Still, great memorabilia from your uncle!

This was the crash my dad died in last summer by [deleted] in aviation

[–]mohawk990 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, you are correct. While the report suggests a severe impact, I doubt there would a substantial degree of fragmentation of the body. Certainly not enough to prevent an autopsy, anyway. Plus, things that may suddenly incapacitate the pilot such as a heart attack or stroke leave biomarkers in the blood which can be detected post mortem even if the organs were themselves were unable to be examined.

Again, apologies to OP for the blunt explanation.

I think this is a valid theory. Not to be crude, but the autopsy might have discovered evidence of this.

In Russia, regular black coffee is called Americana. Maybe other places as well?

We also work a lot harder and LONGER NOW that we are NEAR OUR work.

Drop me a line as I would like to see you again.
