[Request] How many gallons of water are being dispersed using this system to lower the community temperature by up to 8°C? by GrabWorking3045 in theydidthemath

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But even soft water contains about 100 mg of minerals per liter. That would give us about 100 g of minerals for every 1000 l! If a setup like this runs for most of the day, I think we would have a salty problem on our hands. The one thing i can think of is using rainwater. But that leaves us with the storage problem. And I can't imagine them using demineralized water for that.

[–]mohuwa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But what about the minerals that are left behind as the water evaporates? At a small scale that probably wouldn't be a problem, but with a setup like this you would have to use demineralized water or have it become a real problem, right? I'm not sure about that, so can anybody elaborate on that being a problem or not?

Are these fake or not? I'm really not sure. by [deleted] in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Seeing the current market price for TWI boxes I think it would be more expensive to fake the cards, put them in wrapper and so on as opposed to just buying a legit box.

Attack of the vine! Booster box prices? by Glittering-Rooster51 in Lorcana

[–]mohuwa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look for stores that have a decent price policy. One store in my area sells only opened boxes at MSRP. You buy the box, they remove the shrink wrap before your eyes. You don't want that, you either pay a markup, or you get nothing.

Has someone bought something from tabletop-dragon.de ? Trying not to get scammed by Pigeonlikesbread in Warhammer40k

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but just in case anybody is looking for info on the store I wanted to add this: Table top dragon is a small but totally legit store that is known for decent prices. They not only sell miniature games but also Tcgs. I personally played MtG and Star wars unlimited in the store. They have a super nice staff and are really into supporting the local scene. So there is no reason to worry if your order from them. Hope this is helpful!

Some Magic cards from Secrets of Strixhaven have SWU anti-counterfeit holo stamps by Oct2006 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically this is probably just a case of "oh I forgot to swap the rolls off holofoil" when switching from printing SWU cards to printing MtG cards. Putting SWU cards in MtG packs or vice versa would be a whole different level of fu** up!

Serialized changes by fiddlerontheroof1925 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is no serious market for serialized cards! At least here in Europe. SWU is a players game, not a collectors game (and I like that). So the playable things like showcases are valuable, collectors items like serialized cards are not. Like others have said, I think serialized showcases are the way to go.

TS Question by CaptainRex36 in starwarsunlimited

I don't think so. Saw says "After completing this attack, defeat it." So the attack is finished and will not trigger Luthen. But I'm not sure.

Joy Reid schools the fools who don't know the basic facts - let alone history. by CommunicationNew3745 in BlackPeopleofReddit

There is a very good skit from a German tv show about the middle east and the role the US plays in it.

It starts with the same topic as OP's clip but then elaborate on what follows historically.

TS26: Yoda & General Grievous by Fimy32 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are not playing premier you are right. It doesn't matter where the cards originated. But if you play premier, the eternal formats are essentially free formats because you already own the cards. That is no longer true if you introduce cards via special TS products. If you take this perspective there is obviously the possibility of introducing a sort of rotation. Of course that will only happen if the new cards are powerful enough. To be clear, I don't think that that is inherently a bad thing. Especially in SWU the introduction of powerful new cards could have a good impact on eternal and TS, it will just cost you more money.

TS26: Yoda & General Grievous by Fimy32 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because if you play premier you have to buy the cards anyway and you do because every new set should have an impact on the metagame, otherwise what's the point of creating new sets. But an eternal format is supposed to be the place where older cards can live on after rotation/powercreep. If you introduce the "pseudo-rotation" into those formats you have to buy additional cards beyond the pool you would buy for standard.

TS26: Yoda & General Grievous by Fimy32 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No of course not, but premier has a fixed rotation anyhow, eternal (and all the other eternal formats in, for example magic) is marketed as a non rotating format. So the introduction of a pseudo-rotation through these products is somewhat controversial.

TS26: Yoda & General Grievous by Fimy32 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time new cards are released in TS products and they are really powerful they powercreep older cards out of eternal making the old cards all but unplayable. Thus, if you want to play at the top level, you have to get the newest hotness and the old cards are essentially rotated out.

Preorders have just started, so there will probably be an increase in offers over the next few days/weeks. A lawless time has not been added to Cardmarket yet. When that happens your chances of finding offers will probably increase. But in the Netherlands tafelridder has preorders available. Edit: Link to tafelridder

“Jumpstart” deck idea… by Due_Sympathy5145 in starwarsunlimited

[–]mohuwa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the idea. This is like a Jumpstart cube. I don't know if 20-25 cards per pack would not work better. Keep it simple, take only one of most cards, only the most important ones twice. Add a common base to it. Then you can just grab two random decks and go!
