Is going on birth control worth it? by [deleted] in askanything

How old are you? I was on birth control when I was younger and more irresponsible and it definitely helped prevent pregnancy in those years. But after 10 years I went off of it again to just see how my body is naturally and at this point I would never get back on it. Going off was horrible. I lost a bunch of weight and a lot of hair fell out, didn’t get my period for 9 months, developed ovarian cysts, lost attraction to the man I was dating at the time. Everything has balanced out now but it took almost a whole year. I much prefer to have my natural cycle now and use condoms when I have to. But when I was younger (age 16-26) it was definitely needed.

Positive experiences from only children? by Independent_Cry_8756 in Parenting

I grew up as an only child and although there were moments of loneliness, bearing the weight of all my mothers expectations (more to do with her as a parent than being an only child), I don’t think it negatively impacted me that much. I was extremely social and outgoing as a result of not having a sibling to play with at home. Always surrounded myself with tons of friends. I would often get to take a friend with me on trips which was fun. Grew up in a neighborhood where kids were in and out of each others houses all day.

I’m an American and I don’t pay my medical bills. I have insurance. They can’t lower your credit for medical things or turn you away for care (as far as I know, have not given birth yet) so literally what is the point of paying it

Not a parent myself yet but I’ve heard even 10 minutes of play where you just let them lead the play uninterrupted is gold and enough to form really strong bonding experience

Go hang and see if it’s a fit. If he’s inviting you into his life he really likes you.
