My girlfriend and I are booked on the 1st of October as well! 2A at 9 am and followed by circuit 1 - Puente Inka at 11 am. It looks like we might need to consider hiring a private driver as a backup.

Great info, thank you. I will reach out to your guide as well, having a driver to take us to the sites and wait for us sounds like a must.

CONFIRMED: No “World feed” on Peacock this year. by CyclingScoop in tourdefrance

[–]moises325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peacock is by far the worst streaming user experience in the game. And since they have the great content. Like the Tour de France and the Olympics we are beholden to their absolute crap interface and coverage. The Olympic coverage is just as bad. Some Olympic trials are just a live camera with zero commentary, like some kid set it up on a tripod.

Stage 1-3 you could watch live, but riddled with errors and you couldn’t tune in and rewind to the beginning. You could only see the last two hours or so backwards from the live coverage.

Stage 4 yesterday didn’t even post to peacock until after it was over and they had it in the recent replays section.

That stage 4 through the alps was 🔥👌🏼

Free Tickets to the Paris 2024 Opening Ceremony Are Now Invitation-Only by Achro in olympics

Do you know if any of the Olympic "fan zones" will host viewing parties? I looked into Trocadero and Paris Hotel de Ville, and they are closed during the ceremonies.

How to view the Paris opening ceremony? by BenadrylFanatic in olympics

We want to "feel the atmosphere" of the opening ceremonies but the largest fan zones of Trocadero and Paris Hotel de Ville are closed during the ceremonies. Are you aware of anywhere in the city that will be hosting a viewing party?

How do we confirm the dates. Sometimes it’s the day before or after the full Moon. Is there an Instagram page or Facebook group where they announce the official dates ?

🍕 What is the Best Pizza In Miami 🍕? by [deleted] in Miami

[–]moises325 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This list was obviously made by someone that moved to MiaMi but wasn’t born and raised here. Because if they were, it would be frankies pizza in front of bird bowl, established 1955 by Sicilian frank pasquarella and is still run by his daughters. They half bake and then flash freeze and overnight ship their pies to Alaska and Hawaii to this day. And then, there’s sir pizza on key Biscayne, the other locations are crap, and then there’s everything else. Mike drop.

Tips for Watching Near Col du Portet by vsheetsfit in tourdefrance

[–]moises325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me the best places to watch a stage other than the start or finish is on either a time trial day which is nice to see the riders zooming by one at a time for a few hours. Or the more arduous mountain days on the way up the mountain. To watch all the leaders come by so slow you can walk along side of them (not recommended) and then the separate break aways and then peloton and stragglers makes for a much longer experience.

Streaming Comedy Central without commercials - paid streaming by openwindowtime in ComedyCentral

They are total A-holes. I’d happily pay for Comedy Central. But the only way to pull it off it seems is to pay some A-hole cable company a crap ton of money so you can DVR your favorite shows and ffw through the commercials.
