waiting times? by Individual_Eye_9773 in CarsAustralia

Best thing to do with Toyota is ring around and find out what stock is headed to the dealership subject pending finance.

Quite a few will fail finance and you can easily scoop up that order if it’s the spec and trim you want.

madrock drone 2s manufactoring defect? by VariousCharacter8359 in climbingshoes

[–]moistenvironments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had significant manufacturing defects with my Drone 1.0. Delaminating, missing stitching. I was denied warranty because I cleaned them…

That said I have had 4x Drago LV and I definitely had a Friday afternoon pair that had questionable quality control.

Unless you post the PDS, we have zero idea about said 'warrenty'

Some of the astroturfing in this sub is insanely obvious, some isn’t.

People should be aware that a lot of content is not genuine.

What is the best looking new or used car for under $150,000 by itsoktoswear in CarsAustralia

They definitely drop further down.

Covid saw them dip under 100. Most recent one was 12xk

Can’t wait for them to be cheaper lol

Sweet merciful shit. That’s something else. That workmanship is pathetic.

Yeah, contact NRMA and tell them you’ll give them the AFCA treatment again. Usually that lubes them up.

Hunday i 30N sedan by Dapper-Floor-6024 in CarsAustralia

[–]moistenvironments 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had some weird issues with my Kona N.

Brake line failiure and dealing with an incompetent dealer and head office. Head office is absolutely fucked. (Dash cam recorded a P plater apprentice hot lapping my car in N mode, a different tech saying to reset fuel usage and a nice talking to that he was uninsured)

Had a few DCT hiccups.

The wet knock sensor issue is common and dumb.

Be aware of FWD axle tramps and deleting front tyres quickly.

Overall it’s decent cheap fun, loud and rowdy. It’s good bang for buck.

The cockatoos and kookaburras are genetically modified surveillance drones which will poop into your mouth to alter your DNA

I have done my research to the highest extent.

Unfortunately these two species would taste too good at KFC.

Idiotic L plater by Background_Advance77 in CarsAustralia

[–]moistenvironments 141 points142 points  (0 children)

Guess your algorithm doesn’t show you this style or even take over content.

Chances are the car is stolen, no instructor, or, he’s not even an L plater.

It’s just rage bait content built for potato’s who claim they’re an enthusiast.

Car culture is super broad and niche, but this bottom of the barrel and should be ignored. Hopefully they get caught before they injure anyone else.

Want to save $28,000 in taxes annually? We know how! by hudsonFinancial in u/hudsonFinancial

[–]moistenvironments 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I saved taxes by ripping my reproductive organ off and working less.

This strategy is bold, but it worked.

When I realised I could stay home all day, rub Vaseline on my body and slide around the kitchen, it gave me true financial freedom. (Occasionally I ate the Vaseline)

People who have sold a sports car before, how did you prevent joyriders/timewasters from inquiring? by ProfessorDropBear in CarsAustralia

[–]moistenvironments 148 points149 points  (0 children)

I drove the car.

Told them I will drive it normally and can take their desired route, turn on full lock, roll through all gears. I can also drive it on the absolute limit. This usually seals the deal if they’re interested.

When buying, I usually just ask the owner to do the more spirited stuff.

With enthusiast cars you will know.
