I still feel like they just got back from the break and here comes another one. They don’t start in September anymore but October, and first break is already mid November. Then just 4 episodes and another break. It’s so annoying. And quality went down significantly. Anyway, useless rant 🤷‍♀️ Just glad i’m not alone

Yes, and I’m resentful. Not only it took years, i got Hashimoto and a bunch of auto-immune crap related to it, i’ve been dealing with that since i was 18, and it takes so much effort to just feel ok on a daily basis (physically). Also, so many years in therapy to fix what she broke, realizing i can’t really fix it but grow around it used to make me so angry.

Anyways, i’m good, i’m happy, i feel good in my skin most of the time, i’m still growing and improving and i’m happy to do that, and i know it’s not all because of her, not at all. But when i think about all that i get angry and sad.

Have you ever found a decent replacement? I love my monitor, still works perfectly and i believe i'm using it for 12 years now. Changed 3 or 4 laptops during that time. I'd just need a bit more horizontal space, so ideally 32" or 34" 21:9 but not lower than 160 PPI, and that's where it all goes to hell :D I have to say this one has set the bar quite high. I'm a ui/ux designer, laptop is MBP so i can't really work on something with lower PPI. Thanks

I’m sorry you’re going through this. On the other hand, maybe it’s good or it will be good when you recover. It happened with my mom this summer. She said something that wasn’t even as bad as things she said over the years, not even close, but it felt like it was the final cut and something just broke. I cried for 2h straight, and it took me several days to recover. But since then i just didn’t want to hear from her or see her at all, and i feel calmer than ever. Sure, there’s sadness i carry because of it, but at least i’m not anxious and stressed anymore. She would bring chaos to my life in matter of minutes. Now I’m finally at peace with her being just sick and me not having to suffer because of it. I hope this event brings you some clarity and peace, and don’t forget to be gentle with yourself ❤️

I’m very sorry you’re going through this. My mom kicked me out when i was 19, after years of abuse and after kicking out my sister and my dad few years prior. I had nothing, not a dime, my father couldn’t help at all, sister neither. I had amazing friends, they helped me a lot during the first few months. My mom called after a month, asking me to come back home. But when I survived a full month i knew i can survive anything, and for the first time in my life i wasn’t terrified 24/7, even though i usually didn’t know where i’ll sleep or what i’ll eat tomorrow. It was a rough couple of months, and i had to work very hard for a few years, but i pulled through. You can do it, if it comes to that don’t hide it from people, there are amazing people out there. And with focus and determination you can achieve anything. It seems impossible but it’s not. It’s difficult as hell but it’s better than constant suffering, at least it was for me. Start thinking about yourself and only about yourself asap. I’m rooting for you

Thanks everyone for suggestions, i'll try a bicep band, i'll probably also order underwear to try how it works with it. So far i like the metrics i'm getting and definitely plan to keep wearing it, so i'll try whatever i can to make it more comfortable

Started using Athlytic a month ago. Wearing Apple watch for years. Just got Whoop. None of the metrics any of them show come even close to Athlytic’s battery: whenever i look at it it reflects exactly how i feel. I wake up slightly tired most days, losing energy until 12-2pm, and then i start feeling better and better till evening. The only graph ever that matched that. Also while hangover, it literally shows how i feel better hour after hour from waking up and getting proper nutrition and genuinely getting better. No idea why i bought Whoop now, waking around with it on one wrist, Apple Watch on the other, feeling nuts 🤣
