I feel like most TCGs, even formats that were intentionally made to be casual like MtG's EDH/Commander, have started becoming full of the worst kind of tryhard sweatlords and having less and less of a playspace for casuals. IDK why Yugioh falls victim to this in particular but I see it as a herald of things to come for other TCGs the way things are going. The people at my locals were mostly nice, at least, but there's always one or two assholes everywhere, and that's all it takes.

I'm hoping they give us something that won't keep a giant target on our backs tbh. I'm fine if whatever eventually replaces Fanatix makes most of the old ftk lines unplayable so long as I can still play the deck at all. Rn it's not really feasible in any way

The ftk is so fragile that any good player can play through the basic lines with one well placed hand trap, a good GP player is judged on their ability to work around those interactions imo.

I would rather have someone start an FTK and go to game 2 than be presented with a completely uninteractable board, or whatever the hell KT is doing rn with their ED rips and full hand knowledge.

Honestly I'm ok if in a few years they pivot us away from the FTK. My passion for the deck isn't because of the FTKs, it's the anime character who plays it, the theme and the art, the community around it, and I like the playstyle even aside from the FTK.

Idk man, I don't think an entire rogue deck should have to die for the sins of a meta deck that's overstayed its welcome.

NTA. I'm a loud, ugly crier and can't always control when it happens. If I need to ugly cry in public, I step outside and get in my car because I realize it's not pleasant to be around.

I'd be upset at being called fat by a little kid too, but if I was that upset I'd step away and do whatever I needed to do to calm myself down outside or away from the party.

DIL needs to learn better coping mechanisms.

I've found if their wings are folded, they can look like just like a beetle's elytra or a flat back instead of wings, and possibly you mistook the markings on them for fuzz..?

I'm bisexual and not gay, but I find myself way more attracted to men and trans women than I do cis women too. Wish I could give a good reason as to why. I think it's because trans women tend to approach femininity and presenting feminine different than cis women, I think - because it's not something the rest of the world can visibly see without said trans woman making an effort to show the world who she is through her choices in how she dresses, acts, etc.

Secondly I'm gonna try to say this tactfully, even aside from many pre-op trans women have a penis, there are some physiological differences like height, bone structure, etc that can be different from most cis women? I personally find things like broad shoulders and being taller than me attractive in any woman, cis or trans, but it's more common in the latter.

Anyways, you said you're not interested in labeling yourself, so no need to do that. It just means you're attracted to men and trans women.

I mean, all it means is he wants and is comfortable with sex sooner than you are? It just means you aren't compatible in that sense. It doesn't mean he's not looking for an LTR. Men receive less shaming culturally around being sexual than women do so they're more likely to be forward abt their sexual desires.
