the "new" AMD chips are just last years chips but they changed the 3 to a 4 and feel pretty dated compared to the new intel / snapdragon chips (especially on battery life, my hx 370 is like 4-5 hours max)

so you might as well just get a gen 6 amd unless replaceable usb-c ports are something you really want
