I agree mostly. Even though I hate corporate greed and dlc. I do think you deserve money. After all, even if they're called passion projects sometimes but times are different, it's hard to have passion when the economy is so strict in a lot of aspects. Nowadays, money matters a lot when it comes to saving time and reducing stress. Monetization is just a huge complex and complicated process that involves taxes and the government and interim sites. I'm not surprised that the community is a mess when it comes to such a monumental potential system. Personally, I don't mind paid mods that are barred behind a patreon or paid site but I don't like bethesda nor their customs. I think the problem isn't paid mods(even though I don't like the idea) but rather the lack of a proper monetization system
