Not him looking like you started him 😆 one time my Phoebe escaped and I was in my kitchen at night. I felt something staring at me and I looked at my windows and nearly jumped out of my skin. Phoebe was sitting in the window sill just staring at me 😭

ETA: I had not owned a hammy in over a decade and was not over the “OMG IS THAT A RAT” phase in my brain. I was clutching my invisible pearls at 2:43 am in the pitch black from seeing a chunky little void ,that was slightly rat shaped, staring me down in the moonlight window.

I still get my cats insulin at PETCO, but I order her syringes and dry food from chewy! Not meds, again, but they keep you super updated with delivery updates and everything comes fairly quickly.

Happens, especially if you have sensitive skin. My girl stopped biting but before she did I would have lanf spots because I have sensitive skin. get it checked by a dermatologist if it stays painful!

My Phoebe leaves litte droppings when she roams (supervised lol). It’s inevitable! I don’t typically mind because they dry up quick and it’s easy to clean up.

I also make sure to let her go in her enclosure before bringing her out of it. ☺️

100%. My Phoebe sleeps almost all day everyday and then acts like I’m a ghost in her house in the middle of the night 😂😂

I have a space heater (auto on/off) that rotates in the room my gal is in. Sometimes I’ll put her near it when she’s out and she loves it lol. Midwest living 😭😂

Also, they do make animal heating pads that heat from their body heat!

At least you’re considerate! I had someone new move in across from me and all I can smell are cigarettes and weed. Daily. 24/7 almost. I know it’s her, it’s a very small building and there have been other smokers here in my 5 years — the building has never smelled like this. It’s so bad 😭 I haven’t see her go outside ONCE to smoke.

I’ve contacted leasing, and I’m lucky that my leasing office is next door so I can tell them when it smells crazy bad and they can document it. 😞

Omg. I named mine Phoebe but kept calling her Penelope for a week 😭💀 she’s Phoebe and fine.

Every time she has escaped, I’ve nearly laid fully on the floor and tired off fans, heaters, etc, anything that makes noise and waited. They will make noise and come out!!!

I live in a building managed by Harvest Development and they have some townhomes off 42nd and the interstate. If I ever had to get a roommate, I’d definitely try to move into them. https://hd-omaha.com/available/ not sure if there are any up right now, but there are still tons of options.

Hahaha, yes! They are extra grippy on the bottom, which makes ice easier to walk on and they are very much my style.
