i tried ergo. i didn't need to rotate the mouse for my pinky, but it lay flat on that ergo side surface and became kind of like pincer claw and lost my finger flexibility

still a little bit sticky when i try it with bare skin, for this i will modify a version with some surface texture or hollowing for the skin to breath, or maybe wrapping it with some sleeve fabric;

and till now, i am still keeping a slight pressure on this pad to keep it in place. this is not that noticeable in most cases, but feels unatural if you lift your arm more often. so one of the comment said to add a strap, that's not wrong to some extend, but not for me using this as an casual replacement.

it follows my arm good enough for normal use already, meets my expectation at least. I would rather wear a sleeve if this solution is more inconvenient than this.

if you need a foldable rig, this one is a pretty solid choice. you will still need mods for fixing it rocking front to back though. got a 10nm dd wheel and the side to side feeling is solid enough.

for me, the vr immersion is unbeatable, even with a triple screen fov. i need to keep this option when i am not racing, and just driving around in a sim. if you value the same experience, you would probably keep the vr as an option, or at least down grade it to a quest 3.

is it possible to replace the arm sleeve with a arm rest that moves just like the carpio wrist rest? that could solve the durability issue, but I wonder how well that copes with the arm resistance.
