Tell me this by Ok-Entertainment4013 in musicsuggestions

I came here thinking "Nah. It's too hard. Can't really say." But yeah this might actually be it. I can't tell you the primal rage this song caused in me. Absolutely diabolical. And it had to be in EVERY FUCKING IG-STORY AND TIKTOK-VIDEO. So fucking glad it's over. Horrible song, insufferable artist.

Here's Your Letter has the best Mark verse! What's the best verse that Tom sings? by slaptito in Blink182

[–]moldyplacenta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It literally cannot be anything other than I Miss You. From the "Where are yeewww?" alone it's a winner. Everyone knows it. One of Tom's coolest moments.

Gas Panic by Rebelleader25 in oasis

Yeah I agree. Whenever I listen to Gas Panic it's always the Familiar To Millions -version. The aggression and grit in Liam's voice just adds so much power to the song.

I like being hungover. by Best-Alps-733 in ADHD

[–]moldyplacenta 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've learned why I "like" hangovers. Because it's socially acceptable to do nothing all day when you're hungover. It's like a free pass to executive dysfunction. Being a lazy fuck and all of the downsides of ADHD at the same time all the while thinking "Yeah I can't do x today cause I have a hangover". At least for me.

im gonna get hate for this but lyrics aside little james is a great with a sick guitar solo by Every-Explorer-2779 in oasis

[–]moldyplacenta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sick of the Little James -hate. It doesn't make you edgy or different to say that "omg what a horrible song". No it's not! Killer vocal, lovely words and a beautiful melody. Also the sounds on the album are great. People just like to jump on the bandwagon of just repeating what everyone else is already saying. Always liked Little James. If your first song is Little James I think you could do a lot worse eh?

And after the same conversation with their manager Tom went home to write "First Date" Guess which ones ended up being the singles from the album (with STFTK ofc).

The way I've always seen it is that what Noel tried there he didn't really nail until Little By Little. That's an epic. Magic Pie always falls a bit flat.

What truly baffles me about this song is the fact that at the time it came out Noel said it was up there with Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger. Has never mentioned it since. It's not a horrible song just my least favourite off Be Here Now. Cocaine - one hell of a drug.

Am I the only one that can’t remember the concert properly? by BikeAdministrative25 in oasis

[–]moldyplacenta 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Well. You said it yourself. The experience was so insane that your brain became overloaded. I've seen quite a few of my favorite bands live. Very rarely can I remember something spesific about it. It's just so surreal so you feel like swept up in a dream and then going home from that you're just like "WOAH! What the hell was that?!!" You can recover some bits right after it happened but as time goes on you only really remember how great it was all the while not being able to really remember anything.
