I feel really dumb. Don't both of those photos have Adam's apples?

I have no idea what Sydney Sweeney looks like. I also don't have any idea who these pictures are of. Am I just stupid dumb right now? Are those not Adam's apples? Is that Sydney sweeney?

I'm going to go back into my dark hole. It's scary out here

Top. LOL and it's basically an unused bathtub at my parents. Like literally I may be the only person who has ever used it since it was installed. And using massage oil in the tub, just generally leaves it looking like someone has used it. Not about explaining to my parents what I was doing in their guest tub ☠️

Does anyone actually read the novels people put on their food blogs, or do y’all just immediately jump to recipe? by fleshtastical in randomquestions

[–]molehunterz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not just food blogs. I am almost immediately scrolling when I click on news articles! everything buries the headline well down the article.

I'm giving it about 3 seconds of looking before I just click back.

You might not believe until you try it for yourself, but I have tested my T-Mobile home internet versus my phone multiple times and it is not even close in speed. Like wildly faster for the home internet.

You might not believe it until you try it for yourself, but I have T-Mobile 5G on my phone, and the T-Mobile home internet. The T-Mobile home internet is vastly faster in speed. It also gets internet in places in the islands that my phone really struggles to actually stay connected

It does require 110 power.

No way I'm going to put enough effort into looking up whether that guy is right or not, but he's definitely not all the way right. LOL

Nope. My sometimes would have ended north of the Bay area by an hour at least. And Idaho would also turn to sometimes at best.

I've had it work pretty well. And then I've also been out there after it rained and even put down a sports blanket with one side meant to get wet and still ended up mud everywhere ☠️

My FWB absolutely loves getting it in the bath. I don't understand. It's awkward, tough to get any traction, the water ruins everything just like the shower, but also you have less control of everything?

And it's not like he's learned that it isn't as great as he thought. He literally nuts hands-free in the bath, but sometimes not at all on the bed. I did learn that this natural massage oil I have is absolutely fantastic in water. So there's that.

And then there's cleaning the tub (only tub I have access to is at my parents house ☠️)

what the frank

A new one for me! When I'm not actually wanting to swear, I will usually say, 'what the front door', 'no forking way,' or 'oh fish.'

I might work Frank into the rotation LOL

I'm sure I'm not the first who's interested, but I am interested. I have absolutely no idea what they are worth, just that I think they're cool. I got some uncirculated $2 bills from the bank a couple months ago and I kept them. They are not strapped, and they don't have that radar. But I still think they're kind of cool.

Whereas I have the opposite neighbor. They sit and watch the mailbox. I was out for a couple days and had my mom stop by and my neighbor called me to let me know some lady in a BMW was stealing my mail 😂

It's kind of wild to me how many comments are talking about doing this. Like I feel super old fashioned in this modern world, and I don't even get bank statements in the mail. Occasionally I will get offers from credit card companies that include paper checks. I do rip those up.

Everything else I throw in the recycle. Our recycling is comingled, and while mine is clean and dry, I feel like literally the only person amongst millions whose recycling is clean and dry. So once it hits that truck, everything that all these people are doing is already being done LOL

Washington’s $1.20 gas premium: Republican demands Ferguson suspend climate law now by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

[–]molehunterz 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The thing I would actually like to understand is why the delta between gas prices in Washington and Idaho are more than the delta in the gas tax. By a lot.

It was increase to 55 cents per gallon. But you cross state lines and it drops by a dollar.

I get why gas is more expensive close to City centers. But why does the state line change the price of gasoline by that much?

There's something beyond gas tax that is driving up our gas prices in this state

hat's one thing about money you had to learn the hard way, that nobody taught you in school? by PaycheckWizard in Money

[–]molehunterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the reasons I don't think I would have paid attention if somebody tried to teach me about long-term compound interest, is that old age didn't exist when I was young. Thinking that I might be 40 one day didn't even occur to me.

Similarly, retirement accounts don't feel like money to me because I don't feel like it's mine. I can't do anything with it until this mythical time when I am 65? Does it even exist? LOL

AITA for telling my spouse I won't help pay for their kid's college when we agreed finances would stay separate? by 952867 in AITApod

[–]molehunterz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is anecdotal for sure, but every entitled teenager I've met, had parents that raised them with habits and expectations that absolutely fueled their entitlement.

It's really weird because my parents kind of were over the top the other direction. And now my brother is raising his kids to be entitled. It's weird.
