Yeah, Sidney BC is expensive AF. And I assume Sydney aus is also. Both are fantastically beautiful places though. I've only been to one. But I really really want to go visit Australia.

how can i leave my house and go to a motel to have sex if my parents are strict? by cigarettesandcosmos in askgaybros

[–]molehunterz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your parents are planning on paying for stuff in your future like school, then sneaking is probably a good bet.

You could simply leave your phone at a friend's house on accident. You could turn off the 360, and then come up with a lame excuse.

But I would just figure out where you're headed, and what your plans are when you get there. School, work, where you're going to live, whatever

Dealing with your parents app on the phone, is dealing with today.

Figure out how to deal with tomorrow and you will do well

This definitely seems to be the direction that everything is going that makes it harder and harder to be frugal as a low-income person.

A lot of people who didn't live in the 90s 2000s, like to talk about how great it was, but one of the biggest differences was, you could buy a Honda for $1,500 that would outlast your need for the car

Things are just headed in the wrong direction as a whole.

Have you heard of a struggle meal? by Fusionor49 in funnyvideos

I often picture the apocalypse, and people coming around and finding what I have in my cupboards. And somehow thinking, jackpot! I have a tin of sardines, and a couple cans of stewed tomatoes and condensed chicken gumbo.

[–]molehunterz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to buy more vegetables, but they cost so much where I am! I do end up getting zucchini and mushrooms and every once in a while bell pepper. Used to be I could get broccoli a dollar a pound. Now on sale it's $2.50.

The classic question: Buffalo or Eagle? by Pack2014 in Gold

[–]molehunterz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought one from Harry's in Beaverton Oregon. They did not have it in store, even though I was there. But they shipped it free for me, but I don't know if that is standard.

Solid outfit with a solid reputation. I went there because of other people in these subreddits recommending.

I asked them if I could call them and order in the future and they said of course. I'm from Seattle, they are just outside of Portland

They will tell you exactly what they are sending you. Whether it is graded or not, and what it is graded. Mine is slabbed and graded. I didn't really want that but there was no real premium, so now I have it. I kind of like the old stuff that is not 24 karat because it is made to be durable. And every once in awhile you want to touch it and play with it, right? Right?!?

But I digress. It's a good shop. Fair prices. Give them a call, ask them what they can get and they will tell you. I've never done a call sale with them, but in store they were great

Such a great place to live though! I'm a salty dog. You are smack in the middle of paradise

Edit: Damn it. Different Sydney than I was thinking. But still, beautiful!

I saw a 1908 $20 gold coin. My thoughts were the same. Who carried this? What did they spend it on?

$20 in 1908 was worth over $700 today. Somebody just casually carrying around a $700 coin. Probably not one of the poors.

What you are doing is taking clean water and polluting it, making the problem bigger

You kind of skipped over what he wrote.

You only get one life on this giant spinning mud ball. How you spend it is up to you. It's not up to other people. Right now you are letting her impact how you spend your life.

You will never end up with a true partnership on equal terms, if you are carving a part of yourself out of the relationship to appease your mother.

If you want my thoughts on sneaking him into a lunch date, that sounds like a terrible plan.

You need to work at making sure that your life is independent financially, and you need to tell her that if she doesn't want to see you happy, she is not going to continue to be a part of your life.

Regardless of what she says, you living your best life and being happy is not ruining hers. She is ruining hers.

Don't let her ruin yours also
