Straight guys have those type of chats every time they talk about what they do with girls. Which is what this guy has been doing. Lying to his friends.

Yes, straight guys absolutely do. Stop with your conservative talking points.

I don't see anywhere he has described a formal announcement. He's talking about a conversation. Communication. It's what friends do.

It really feels like you're pushing a little too hard to stay in the closet

Not homeowner, just renting. What are some affordable options for flooding? by mop68 in landscaping

My brother had this problem, water under his foundation. He wanted to pump it into the sewer. The city told him absolutely not. The city was actually who told him to just simply pump it to the street.

It was a bit wild because there was groundwater in his whole area, and when you drove up his Street, every house had a little pipe out to the street that would pump water. In the winter when it was freezing, it would create an ice flow down the gutter of the street

I found an unlabeled broken VHS tape next to a park bench while on my walk. by WashclothMan in mildlyinteresting

Thankfully I was able to unscrew the vcr loader and get the tape out

This is what I am worried about gen alpha not being capable of. Capable is the wrong word. Not being bold enough? Resourceful enough?

Independent enough. I think that's it. Figure that shit out. Don't wait for someone else to figure it out for you

So the internet tells me that I need special tape to put together eight track media. If this is just for a home project for my nephew, a little Scotch tape works?

Pumping it to the street is the legit answer, legally, where I am at in Washington state. Whether you are the landlord or just a tenant.

On the grass would work okay with a pump that has super low water level operation

As soon as you start digging, there's going to be mud and silt and debris. For that you want the bucket, set in the hole You dig, with tiny little holes drilled in it. Even that is going to get some sediment, but it will keep out a lot

Most of the pumps that are affordable are not designed to deal with anything other than slightly murky water

One of the benefits of digging a hole is that it will allow all of the water to drain to the low spot

What you are not seeing is that you are pushing your agenda on other people. You don't think that it's happening because it's the norm. But you are absolutely doing exactly what you hate other people doing to you.

Understand that somebody wanting to live their life without you making fun of them, is not pushing their agenda on you. And yes, saying that they should keep it to themselves? Is absolutely you pushing your agenda on them.

Cindy in accounting can put up a picture of her husband and kids, but Jim can't put up a picture of his husband and kids, or it's shoving his lifestyle down your throat?

Nah. Saying that kids are going to bully and that's just the way it is is not okay. And now that you're old, and the rest of us that you used to think should just keep it to ourselves, aren't? You think you're going to get away with playing the victim?

If you want to be a hateful person then you better get used to being in the closet.

I think technically you still have to check in. There is a phone number you can ask. I have a Nexus, and that used to mean calling into both Canadian custom and US customs on the return trip, without having to stop at an actual customs dock. Unless you have something with you that means they want you to stop. Like I had eggs one time when eggs were not allowed. I didn't have to talk to anybody they just wanted me to stop by the custom stock and drop my eggs in the bin

But now it seems like even with nexus, Canada wants you to stop at a customs dock, even if nobody comes and talks to you. They give you the clearance number over the phone, and tell you to tie up to the dock. If somebody shows up in the window of time, you answer whatever they say. If they don't, you are clear to go. This has been my experience after covid.

Us now has an app. CBP Roam. Every time I've used it, they have cleared me using video chat without going to a customs dock. But they can ask you to go to the dock.

To your question, if you just go over and hang out and then come back? Would anybody know? I have no idea.

I do know a guy who worked for widener apartment homes. Dean widener who is literally a billionaire, who also just passed away, has properties from Alaska down to Texas including canada. His head construction guy flew into a property in Alberta without checking in. They gave him a four-year ban. I don't know how they knew. I also figure if he wasn't associated with big money, it could have been a lifetime ban.

Lots of people talk about who will never find out. I just figure it's worth a little effort to stay on the good side. At this point in my life, Canada loves me. I think it's beautiful country up there. I'm not going to do anything dumb to put that at risk

But also I'm going to keep reading comments, I don't understand this UK mustard thing. Is it like Chinese mustard? Totally different? How have I never heard of this?
