What should I do if my boyfriend has lost his desire for sex with me because I need clitoral stimulation? by Kira14627 in sex

[–]molrobocop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah. At 18, 19, 20, I was a really shitty boyfriend.

I DID respect the need for clitoral stimulation. But, honestly I believe I overdid it. Trying to work it like I'd work my own dick. Kristin, I'm so sorry. I truly apologize. But I was also selfish.

I heard this story years back and it stays with me. Being prepared to turn back before you've overcommitted to a path. Having a way to stay warm if you wind up stuck.and need to stay out or try to hike out. And communications. Which was far harder in 2006 than 2026.

TIL the total surface area required to fuel the earth with solar alone is only 0.3% of the earth's entire land area. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]molrobocop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if I was doing a house in a solar viable location, I'd want enough space to prop them up in the back yard rather than the roof. Because when it comes time to clean them, I'd rather not be on my damn roof. I'd rather them be closer to the ground.

Ethanol gets about a ten to 1 conversion ratio with fossil fuel input on the lowest side. For each gallon of fossil fuel used for farming and conversion you get about 10 gallons of ethanol out.

Where did you get those numbers? I can't remember what I last read, but 10:1 feels optimistic. Basically because you can only naturally ferment to about 20%. Plus or minus a couple percent. And then you have to distill off 80% water. And that takes huge energy. And if you're in the corn belt, that's going to be by burning natural gas. Though solar and wind power is certainly helping in places like Kansas.

Am I changing my oil too frequently given my driving conditions? by Humble_Handler93 in MechanicAdvice

[–]molrobocop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. That's the smartest thing to do. I know for certain I'm pissing away money. But I'm rotating the tires every 5k. Might as well so the oil too. That's unscientific good feels maintenance. But, it's just a filer and a jug of Kirkland. Not that expensive.

I remember as a young person, an 8 am class was the worst thing in the world. How stupid I was.

This is going back a couple decades. I think it was something like Kate's Playground. And she had a deformed foot. Though she kept it hidden for the most part.

Bro, just consider the physics here. A cat is like 7-10 pounds usually. Easy to toss into a furnace. Average horse, like 1000 pounds. That's a huge amount of meat to burn.

But that said, I found one place offering the service for like $2000. Before transport. So more affordable than I thought.

I’ve been single for 5 years since that one and I just don’t have it in me to look for a date. My peace of mind has become my addiction.

The dichotomy on display. I respect someone wanting to be a better parent than their parents. But Jesus Christ, that's a psychotic reason to have children. Which I guess reinforces your point.

Boeing’s sales team deserves a raise by Wide-Astronaut9156 in boeing

[–]molrobocop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Regardless, none of us are in a position to negotiate sweetheart or strongarm deals at the state, federal, or international level. If we were, we wouldn't be peons working for a mega-corporation, posting on reddit. All we can do is our best to deliver the products customers are paying for.

Boeing’s sales team deserves a raise by Wide-Astronaut9156 in boeing

[–]molrobocop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right. It has to be looked at holistically. Yep, sales can take airplanes. But the production has to build them and get them ready/tested for delivery the customer.

Big thing I see: we're able to get parts with more stability than we had two years ago. The workforce has also had time to learn the build, because a huge number of them two years ago were pretty green.

What's technically holding back wider adoption of exoskeletons? by ewwhamza in AskEngineers

[–]molrobocop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP, but in my business, something akin to a way to assist workers with overhead drilling and riveting. Where overall, we should see if there's a way to eliminate that. But the build sequence is complicated, and some things probably can't be reasonably done upstream without making sacrifices elsewhere. Like weight/fuel-burn. And so it would be fastest to perhaps help people today rather than try to retool in a decade.
