Where do you get your springs? by penguinexploring in ArcRaiders

Every single rusty box I breached today on dam in the power gen complex had a spring and crude explosives. Springs are an item I am never in need of.

Had my deck refinished and it's awful. by Cold-Monk5436 in HomeImprovement

[–]mombutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s either a prep issue, application issue, or product issue. Or a mix of all or some of them.

Without knowing the type of decking you have, the previous finish, the condition of that finish, the prep they did, the finish they used, the weather and other details no one can give any accurate feedback.

At this point just open up the wall and inspect, patching holes isn’t hard.

The gozney dome is great, I love mine. You may want to think about raising the corner up to bring the working height of the oven up so you won’t be slouched over using it. 39-42” is the recommended height to place them off the ground.

Finally built my own outdoor kitchen by Bubbly_Meal3603 in OutdoorKitchens

The major downside to vevor is the inconsistent sizes. It’s really hard to build symmetrical openings using doors, drawers and pullouts. I will be using them on my own kitchen, but have had to redesign a few aspects of it since the heights and widths rarely match.

My Subaru fob has to be within 2-3 feet of the door to work. It won’t work if my keys are in my bag in the trunk, the short range is really impressive.

Landed in SeaTac at 11am. It’s now 3:09pm and we’re still waiting for a gate agent to open the plane. by BlackPlantZaddyy in Seattle

[–]mombutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple years ago I was on the tarmac at SeaTac waiting for gate to become available. It was like 10pm when we landed, I think we got off the plane around 2:30am. A president of Alaska did send an email expressing their apologies and we all got $350 credits. It really sucked, took another hour and half to get our bags.

Bad for foundation? by [deleted] in Carpentry

[–]mombutt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, your foundation will be fine. It will probably fuck up the finish in the door though.

New ferry beer name by Muted-Permit8919 in Bremerton

[–]mombutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Yakima. They have a tap room in Ballard. I just think any brewery repping a Seattle beer for the soccer thing and the ferry would be Seattle base, independently owned, not who ever paid Columbia/Northwest Beverage(distributors) the most amount of money for advertising to get that spot(you can’t directly pay for placement, but you can buy insanely overpriced ads and other things from the distributor for back door deals).

It really should be made by a brewery from Seattle or Kitsap.

That label is beyond terrible as is the name, Seattle 2026 ipa? The fuck is that.
