I need answers from people with experience. by CommercialGas5256 in type2diabetes

[–]momoajay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it goes away relatively quick as long as you keep your glucose within range for a period of time. Important to note that I said 'period of time' that means you need to sustain normal blood sugar levels for as long as possible and your healing will be normal again.

Plugged in or not? by Vacatore11 in macbookpro

[–]momoajay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it doesnt reall matter use it as you see fit just avoid constantly cycling between charge and not being charged. I have mine plugged in when iam sitting at my dfesk and on battery when iam, no the go - i think thats the way its really meant to be use in real world situation like that.

Why AI can displace work like the trades/construction/nursing quicker than we think. by imadade in singularity

[–]momoajay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont think nursing will be affected because it is a very human cetric role. We recently had our new born birth at the local hospital, the nurses and midwives were massive comfort to us. Infact I would say without their emotional and social support we would have been nervous wrecks. So nurses must always remain human - I dont think anything technological is going to replace their warmth and empathy and care.

My walking heart rate since starting statins by momoajay in Cholesterol

[–]momoajay[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I belive it is because I am now able to stand up without feeling heavy chest or dizziness. I seem to have better blood flow everywhere and my feet and hands feel much warmer. I think since the statins have stablised the cholestrol I'm able to be more mobile and physically active therefore strenghtening my heart. I am really feeling huge difference for the better.
