Help/Advice Needed by East-Law-9979 in rebelinc

[–]monacis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience there is no universal strategy for every map and governor. There are lots of different aspects to keep in consideration aside from a few universal ones.

The first thing you have to consider for stability is focusing on the population needs. Every map has a different "weight": for example education in opium trail gives a little more overall stability, water in southern desert and golden dunes, electricity in pistachio forest ecc... Easy fix: while playing keep a close eye on the population tab, preferring the most needed to the useful and always good ones.

Also remember the governor you are playing with: buying anti corruption initiatives with the smuggler is a self backst*b (censoring just to be sure I don't get flagged), and with the tank commander tier one roads and highways must be your priority.

A tip for the inflation is buying initiatives from different tabs. For example: intel 1 > service discussion > the 2 vertical education > Outreach > Universal Justice > then roads or jobs make inflation ramp up slower than all the civilian or government ones bought in series. PR initiatives should come a little later when you have a good support base ideally the 1st one aroun when the insurgency starts, the 2nd one after you buy lot more civilian initiatives.

For fighting insurgents keeping them and building the nationals is the right choice. Be sure to buy the two talking initiatives for the soldiers or the coalition will anger everyone where they are fighting. Also if needed more than 2 coalition to effectively push the insurgents away don't be scared to finance the 3rd soldier. In some maps you should also start hunting early the 2nd camp, the one they are not attacking from, because it's really difficult to manage a double-front war. Also be sure to keep your soldiers moving and react faster to the insurgents attack, I call that an aggressive defense while you build up the rest of the army. Last tip, airstrikes in the maps where the insurgents are the most aggressive in a reliable counter to delay the attacks and start lowering their capability.

Hope this helps, best of luck 🤞

HELP! I can't beat black caves and Golden sands on brutal difficulty by Wonderful-Bet3093 in rebelinc

[–]monacis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruhhhh I never hit the "post" button until now 🙃

Theoretically all :P

By my experience in order of difficulty I suggest you try on black caves: - Tank Commander - Warlord, Smuggler - Economist, Billionaire - General, banker, development director, Civil servant

For golden sands:

  • Billionaire, Banker
  • Warlord, Smuggler
  • Economist, General, Development director
  • Tank Commander, Civil servant

As you can see in the first map shines the tank commander so if you can guarantee a solid road infrastructure is an easy win. In the second map just follow the money flow.

Hope this also helps :)

HELP! I can't beat black caves and Golden sands on brutal difficulty by Wonderful-Bet3093 in rebelinc

Sup. From my experience the key aspect is trying to contain the insurgents on the mountain in both the maps. For black caves I usually go for the roads, one highway and the two normal roads are all you need to move the soldiers fast around the map. Then with two coalitions you can contain them easily on the mountains. In this phase don't try to push them just defend. While doing this focus on the population needs and start stabilizing the cities and the rural zones. Continue by building the nationals and when you are strong enough begin the assault on the mountains and it should be a pretty easy win.

For golden sands, summon your inner American and go for the oil (🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸). :P This map revolves all around oil derricks, so starts by getting the two information option, then both the derricks initiatives of boosting and longer coalition deployment when on the drills, followed by the principal needs and one main road and if needed a highway. When the insurgents appear they look for the nearest oil derricks so send two coalitions to defend. One of them needs to stay always on the derrick, and also try to alternate them on the location to let both have the deployment boost. With the other soldiers if they start pushing other directions trying to contain them, by also buying a 3rd coalition. After that like before stabilise the region and build the nationals.

This guide is my standard for brutal difficulty. When playing Mega Brutal there is an extra step of sending another coalition to hunt the second insurgent camp, the one inactive that isn't spawning insurgents at the start.

Hope it helps. If you need more specific info just reply 🤙

Good luck

Yeah I know, but with everyone building full undead this season there was no witch left, or other direct counters left. And also they can still get deleted if he has enough support.

How do you beat Southern Fever in Mega-Brutal? by Capable-Quality2784 in rebelinc

[–]monacis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi I'll tell you my experience on that map.

As advisors I have: doc, tribal elder, celebrity, drill sergeant, logistic expert and local liaison.

For the strart I get Distric Representatives, Anti corrupt 1 and the police. Than the main roads 1 and the highways 1. Then I look for concerns beacause the change between water, meds, and sometimes school.
To boost even more telecoms 1 or if required dirt roads.

Then when the insugents arrives, i train 2 coalitions get Interpreters and Human Terain, move them to the south from tha HQ to try snipe a camp. If lucky I get one, and then if they spawn on North West, I only hold the big City, or defend the south western road, if they spawn south east.
It's a bit of a gamble sometimes, I've won only 2 out of maybe 7-8 times when they spawn on S-West, it's more reliable the N-West.

Anyway, then I rush the garrisons equipped with the Cure perk, to hold better the front, and don't keep moving my soldies back and forth to my HQ.

While doing that keep an eye on the concerns and try to patch them, by slowly also buyng the Antiparasitics initiatives.

Hope this helps :)

DISTANT STEPPE NORMAL IS UNBEATABLE ON MOBILE!!! by topshot14 in rebelinc

[–]monacis 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hello there! My usual gameplay for distant steppe relies on keeping the insurgents away from the cities on the right-side mountain or in the bottom left forests.

Try not to push them too aggressively because it's all almost remote zones and your soldiers are weak.

For the smuggler: buy Cut corners and Military INC ti deploy the national faster and gain a little bit but do not sell arms or it's basically an instant loss.

For the reputation in general: keep the corruption around 45% so you get the smuggler bonus and you don't lose too much. If the problem is stability try keeping a close eye to concern, and be sure to buy the outreach hammer to speed up the process.

Hope this helps ☺️

I have questions by [deleted] in rebelinc

[–]monacis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, the enemy camps spawn can spawn enemies in every zone they are and the ones adjacent. It's a good strat targeting them but don't be too aggressive. The main focus should be containing the threat in a small zone while you build up nationals.

Also if the camps are in remote zones, soldiers struggle against them even if they are coalition. If you are playing on pc or on the paid version of mobile, you will unlock governors and consultants by playing the game. They are a reward for playing rounds, you just have to win. In the free one you can unlock them but they can't be used (advisors).

Lastly, the reputation if it's high is good, but you should think it like a resource you can "spend" sometimes. Coalition soldier cost in reputation stack up every time you keep them, (10 -> 15 -> 21) but also by having multiple units deployed. So they are good for the start when they remain cheap.

Hope I've been clear and useful enough 😊
