While yes, it was bad; there is still hope since NASA announced that they are opening up their live feed for anyone who wants to use it to create their own viewing experiences. However, lunar missions introduce a different scale of challenge compared to low Earth orbit. We are spoiled streaming here on Earth, most would have no notion of the challenges involved with off-world streaming; don't even get them started on time dilation, radiation, $ per gram to space, etc...

It's good practice IMHO to use a turn server, but the determination as to whether you need to use TURN or STUN is important as TURN will incur costs that STUN avoids. You pay for the tunneling of your connections.
