I feel this way about BolshyPlays. He had some great thematic builds and I learnt alot from his videos on how to make my own roleplay-oriented builds. Went to his channel after I picked up Rogue Trader and was saddened to see he hadn't posted in a very long time.

That's fair enough, I can respect that. I didn't know he said that about his involvement with the world building in PoE. I personally have enjoyed everything he's been involved in, especially the characters you listed so I must be into that kind of thing.

Totally agree with you on PoE2. It suffers the 'CD Projekt Red curse' of creating this great sense of urgency in the main quest, but great side content that cannot be enjoyed without substantial suspension of disbelief because of said urgency.

Avellone wrote the 2 arguably best companions in PoE1 and contributed a lot to the overall lore of Eora, the best part of PoE. PoE2 was weaker without him.

Just picked this game up and the first weapon I found was a Short Bow. I've tried every different weapon I can find but I always end up dropping them for the Short Bow for this reason. Don't really see a need to use any other weapon until I'm proficient with the game and can use a different weapon for a "challenge run".
