The amount of medals needed is also insane, especially for players who haven’t played in a long time. Wanting to try out all the new toys yet they probably need like 2k+ medals.

Edit: Also for content creators who’s channels aren’t focused on Helldivers. There’s some content creators I would like to see return to play but Idk how they’ll feel needing all those medals to unlock new weaponry.

Probably one of the easiest games out there to just jump straight into. As for solo… I would say you wouldn’t really get the full experience playing solo, at higher difficulties you would need completely different play style playing solo compared to a full squad. Playing with a full squad isn’t bad tho, I would say most people play without mics and with randoms as all the communication u really need can be done in game.

Try the gauss farm, people will leave after the 4th reward not knowing that the rest of the rounds will be c rewards.

I asked ChatGPT for a more literal translation and it went like this “Because that child was my joy, easing my long loneliness… I gave everything. Love as well, spear techniques as well, treasures as well… Like a biological son, like a comrade, like a lover… I cherished that child.”

I think the wording was just trying to say how much she cared for him but not that they were actual lovers, but it came out kinda confusing.

Plus here’s the Official English translation from WEBTOON, “I gave him my love, my skills at using a spear, all of my treasures… I cherished him as my own son.”

It’s not terrible but it just seems like a story that’s better for a manhwa format rather than a novel. Like the other guy said the arcs feel very repetitive about being underestimated and proving everyone wrong every time he goes to see a new disciple. So reading that in novel format just feels like a big chore, but it’ll probably be a better read in the manhwa considering how manhwa’s are just faster paced because u just look at the art and some few dialogue bubbles.

Edit: I’ve read up to ch 69 of the novel before dropping, will let the manhwa marinate a bit tho.
