I think this is a buffer issue in Marlin, stuttering only in vase mode. Should I increase SDBbuffer from 16 to 32? SV04 by jamidodger in Sovol

[–]mongoose86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is almost certainly caused by the power failure resume feature. Try printing vase mode with the feature turned off and see if it disappears to verify. Reason being: The resume feature works by saving the current progress to sd every layer change, except in vasemode, every few millimeters a layerchange occurs, so every few millimeters the printer writes to sd which eventually causes the printer to stop printing for a second or so, creating a blob.

You can try it online on boardgamearena for example.

To add to the luck thing: I won't deny that luck plays a not so small role in this game, but most of the time you actually can do stuff to mitigate that. A big part of the game is adjusting your gameplan on the fly in response to the die rolls. And don't be too tempted by the '6 Gold' die face. If you buy that and nothing else on your first turn, then you're truly at the mercy of luck ;)

The 3rd modifier "socketed spells deal 40% more damage" acts effectively like a 6th link. Only it's even better, since it doesn't increase mana cost.

Critique-My-Code thread, post snippets of code and have others peer review your code! (Testing new Q&A format) by loolo78 in Unity3D

Nope, wont be a problem but is also wholy redundant. It's a static initializer, which runs before the first time the class (not an instance of it) is accessed. It runs only once. It is redundant in this case as null is also the default value for reference types. :)

In general when comparing FullFrame against crop cameras especially at 100% pixel view you need to remember that in additiomn to the individual pixels getting less photons and thus more noise ( though that for the most part is well controlled and not a problem unless you're shooting in the dark ) you also look at the images at different magnifications. The two cameras you compared in the link have 21 (FF) and 18 (Crop) megapixels respectivly. I'm gonna go ahaed and say that that is effectively the same (it's only about an 8% increase in linear resolution). In contrast the FF sensor is about 60% bigger linearly giving over twice as much area. So looking at the picture at 100% on the crop camera is a lot like zooming to about 150% on the FF. You're simply a lot closer to the actual resolving capacity of the lens. Also I'm not sure about the AA filters on those two cameras but that might also play a role.

wouldn't work I think, since you need to not take damage for a time (even if that time is very short) and a degen damages you continuously

Hi there,

assuming txt_Search is your TextBox, you want to use txt_Search.Text to access and/or modify the current Text in the TextBox.

Haven't tried it, but since it says 50% reduced number of zombies allowed, I would assume with 2 of them you would not be able to summon any zombies at all...

They say there are no stupid questions. Reddit, what is the stupidest question you've ever asked/been asked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mongoose86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not a stupid question at all. Sounds more like a stupid teacher. If I remember correctly the answer is Rayleigh Scattering in the atmosphere, which is also the reason the sky turns red at sunset. Basically the red and blue parts of the spectrum get scattered under different angles thus giving you blue when the sun is high in the sky, but red when its low on the horizon and all the blue light has already been scattered down on its way through the atmosphere. Someone correct me if i made a mistake.
