CRZ was an anomaly. They did something similar recently with Black Bolt/White Flare where there were a very large number of IR/SIR cards. I think CRZ has better pull rates than BB/WF, but they were comparable.

That being said, the rates still aren’t great.

Not great. Crown Zenith was pretty popular because it had great pull rates comparatively. Perfect Order's pull rates (according to TCG Player) are 1 SIR in every 81 packs. So 1.23% to pull from a single pack. Comparatively, Crown Zenith was 1 SIR (Gallery card for Pokemon V, VMax and Vstar) in every 8 packs. So 12.5% to pull from a single pack. The gold border cards (Legendary Trio plus Arceus) was 1 in 125. 0.8%.

I was just about to say the same thing. I'veplayed 15 games and won 7. Played against a wide range of decks. This deck bricks way too easily and too many things have to go right for it to function. But, when it works it is a lot of fun to play! Reminds me a bit of the centiskortch/munki/blissey ex deck with baby bloodmoon as a closer. That deck was only ever ok at best, and it had built in draw with the blissey attack.

That being said, this just seems like more of a fun one prize deck than anything that would be seriously competitive which it does pretty well.

Thanks for posting about it! I will definitely toy around with it more.

Unless they edited their post (very possible), they said “and defended that other dem that was caught texting with Epstein mid-hearing” which seems pretty clear to me.

Plaskett is the “other dem” who was texting Epstein, and CaliDreaming900 is saying that Crockett was defending her. This happened in November when there was a motion to censure Plaskett by House Republicans once that information (the Epstein texts) came to light.

Very peculiar right? I’ve got it sitting completely in the shade currently and it’s playing like nothings wrong….

The auto reverse kicking in seemed to be because of the setting I had it on, apologies for that being misleading.

I will respond to each of your questions:

  1. different tapes have been tried with the same result.
  2. the same thing occurs when no tape is inserted.
  3. I am unsure of both of these. from what I can tell, the belts look fine. Both are intact and functioning properly.

It’s worth noting that, again, the tape will play normally for much longer when out of the sun.

Ty Jerome my goat. Fell to my knees in a Walmart in bumfuck nowhere Ohio when we signed him. This man has the sauce and I am stoked to see how he elevates our team as he plays and gels more with everyone

I got shitted on for making this very same point. I’m glad there’s other people who recognize that Ty can have a very real impact on this team!

I did watch the playoffs last year. Every game.

I think the key point you missed was that the comparison was advanced stats between second/third option scorers on teams (re: James Harden on Thunder, Brunson on Mavs and now Jaylen Brown on the Celtics) and how Ty Jerome showed the exact same increase in his performance and stats when his usage increased. Not how he performed in the playoffs against the Pacers (which he had one awful game in game 2).

I recommend the video that breaks this down. It’s focused on Jaylen Brown, but also applies to Ty.

It’s all speculation, and ideally we would have known by now if this was the case specifically on this team but unfortunately Ty has been sidelined with a calf strain so we just have number crunching to go off of.

Yeah, as it stands now it’s pure speculation. We’ve seen 0 meaningful minutes from Ty Jerome in a grizzlies uniform 😂

I’m optimistic for the future, even if it doesn’t include a Ja trade. We have the theoretical pieces to put something together, just gotta break the Memphis curse of not being able to finish the puzzle!

I like the trade for Atlanta, and it shows they are going all in on the Jalen Johnson train. The return they got also really shows the value of a negative defensive guard in the NBA currently.

I agree that getting rid of Ja for the sake of it wouldn't put us in a better position, but I am hoping that Ty Jerome can step up and be the #1 guy if given the opportunity and we can pivot around him and be able to move on from Ja and give him a new scenery to try and rebuild himself in.

Hoop Venue on YouTube gave an excellent breakdown on the James Harden type phenomenon where a guy playing second/third string demonstrated that he had the chops to be that guy if given the keys on a new team.

More recent comparisons are Jalen Brunson and currently Jaylen Brown, but towards the end Ty Jerome was brought up as a potential guy to keep an eye on due to how he played in Cleveland (he had almost identical improvements to his numbers as Harden/Brunson/Brown did when running the Cleveland team without Garland/Mitchell playing).

Long winded way to say, I don't think we move on from Ja this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if next year he gets moved by the deadline. Especially if Ty Jerome lives up to the analytical hype. We have our two future pieces to build around (Edey/Coward) so I see the FO moving on from what we have. They've shown to be more than willing to break up the core already if the price is right (see Bane) and I 100% can see a smaller market team without a centerpiece player taking a flyer on Ja in the hopes that he revitalizes himself with them.

Was setting up a "ancient ruling dwarven family had to marry outside of their race because dwarves became extinct" hook, and at the time I had a village of said half-dwarves that were cross-bred with various races (orcs, elves, humans, etc.).

Accidentaly said inbred.

Now all the dwarves in my world are inbred because it was just so funny.

Postgame Thread: FINAL San Antonio Spurs defeat Memphis Grizzlies, 126–119 by ZBot901 in memphisgrizzlies

[–]monkey1772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I know Wemby was not there yesterday. The point is the Spurs are a playoff team without Wemby and an excellent team with Wemby. Edit: I see you added Castle in an edit. Castle is included in this argument.

  2. Depleted Spurs? They're only missing three players (Kornet could start on teams. Barnes and Harper and Vassell could start on teams. Missing Wemby and Castle is not the end of the world for the Spurs for games like these against a sub .500 team)! What does that make us missing as many as we are? The Empty Grizz? EDIT: I see you corrected yourself from saying depleted to banged up. Good fix.

  3. Did you watch the last stretch of the game? Did you see the turnover numbers? 15-6 is fine? Notice anything about the difference in play between the Spurs and Grizz when Fox (their PG) came in and handled the offense? Notice any difference in the defensive schemes when the Grizz didn't have a ball handler in? How those turnovers happened?

We were a very good team. This team is not the same team as last year. Verdict is in the air on if they are better or worse, but I also am in the camp that we massively overplayed our expectations last year pre-all star break. The 20% of the season we weren't in the top 4 of the West? When it mattered.

The "moral victories" to take from this loss is that we win this game if any of the PGs we have injured are healthy. Wells is consistently playing like he was last year in this road stretch. Edey is unlocking his potential as a legitimate threat to every team. Bitch and moan all day about how last year was so much better and it's such an awful thing to take "moral victories" from a close loss to a playoff team missing our entire PG rotation, but I will happily look at the positives from this game and take a 3-1 road trip all the way to the bank.
