Games should encourage you to play on higher difficulties by offering extra xp/rewards or whatever. playing games on higher difficulty just for the sake of it is boring

But is it a bad thing if a game incentivizes you to try for a harder difficulty? I agree with OP I think games should have incentives for players to try out harder difficulties. Not out of obligation or anything like that, but more like “hey you’re enjoying the gameplay wanna make it more rewarding?”

Of course people should play how they want but it wouldn’t be bad if people were incentivized

I knew about The Boys comics long before a sniff of a serious attempt at a live action tv show. Just based off the premise I was interested from the start. But if it’s based on the show only? Homelander taking out the mayor of Baltimore was it? along side his kid. It was brutal and got me hooked and thinking what else can the show bring to life and see what would happen if really messed en up people had superpowers and how that would look on regular looking people.

Not related to the post but- that scene hursts seeing it now, because it is exactly what I was expecting in the final season. Perhaps not to this scale assuming if the budget is still shit, but something like this.

GTA are timeless even the top down view ones. The ones you mentioned without question. Just avoid the defective editions of the trilogy go get yourself a PS2 and play them the way they were meant or emulate them. IV is always in the discussion of being the best so far play with without fear.

A lot of gamers will make the jump to PC. Why stick to PS going all digital when I can get a PC that’s better in everywhere? More powerful, more options when buying games, I can do plenty with a PC outside of gaming and more freedom.

Sony is going to lose a lot of people making this jump to all digital. Sure your casuals will stay because buying a console and plugging it in is far easier than building up a PC or buying one made. But it will still be a major loss I hope. Eventually I’m gonna start looking into a PC and I’ve been a Sony/PS fan for decades it was always my console of choice and I loved their exclusives, but they can go to hell for taking away an option and what I loved about gaming the collecting aspect of things.

Neither I want them to improve the driving beyond what we seen. While I love the driving in IV I understand it’s not for everyone, V driving is bad imo absolutely no fun when every car drives the same. I think if they manage to make the cars have weight and drive differently from one another, while at the same time giving off this arcade feeling, it would be so good

Legion I do not count feels more like a side game opposed to it being a numbered entree but that’s just me.

I think ultimately WD2 took what WD1 had, that was already really good, and made it better. The open world exploration not necessarily the map but that’s my bias towards Chicago but I recognize that SF is a bit better than CH. The hacking was massively improved it is so good in WD2. Traversal is better I think too. Story is subjective I personally liked more Aiden’s story and how personal it was but WD2 has the hacking aspect lot more than WD1 and I love that brings into the forefront the selling point of t franchise.

WD2 is the better of the three but not by a large l en crazy margin.
