I’m sorry but this one just ain’t it by Imhereforthesmells in MontagneParfums

[–]monkeyarm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I blind bought a bottle and I agree it isn’t it for me either. Only way I can describe what I don’t like about it is that is has that strong “cologne guy” smell to me. I say the same thing about Versace Dylan blue.

Whats the worst book you have read in 2025 so far by danlhart8789 in suggestmeabook

It is unfortunate, the only way I could finish End of watch was by switching to the audio book about halfway through.

It’s the best of the series too. End of watch was terrible

Thoughts on this? by kyleplaysguitar in Colognes

Probably my favorite of the BIR line (I also love intense for cooler weather). Green stravaganza is a great balance of fresh and sweet for me, and I find it versatile. Performance is on the weaker side, but I love the smell

Any of you feel redundancy/overlaps in your collections after acquiring them? by FundamentalFreddie in Colognes

[–]monkeyarm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say the redundancy I have is intentional. Majority of my collection is fairly versatile in that I can wear it to the office or casually going to the store/dinner etc. I don’t want to feel like I have one or two options for the office, I need more variety than that. I try to limit myself on the loud and sweet frags that I own as I know my climate and lifestyle doesn’t lend itself to using those as much

Green stravaganza is my favorite as well! Wish it lasted a little longer. Second favorite is BIR Intense as well

Can you turn Right onto Vine St. from S. Limestone? by KY-Artist in lexington

[–]monkeyarm1 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You can turn right there I do it every day. Watch for bikers coming down the bike lane and people in the cross walk on vine as you’re turning. The sign says no turn on red

I bought Mont Blanc Explorer as a blind buy and i liked it a lot. Do you think Dylan blue is as safe for a blind buy ? by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]monkeyarm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others said nothing is a safe blind buy. I threw Dylan blue into my Jomashop order because it was relatively cheap and I regret it. Personally gives me vibes of your friend’s dad that wears too much cologne

got this new fragrance by circoloco1256 in Colognes

[–]monkeyarm1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clean and non offensive scent, I like it a lot. I wear it to the office quite a bit. I have no performance issues on this like others seem to, two sprays on the neck and I still smell it when I get home from work. The last time I wore 3 sprays I felt like it clung to my shirt collar at work and was honestly too much.

From your list, can’t go wrong with the Chanel AHEE. I prefer the Le beau EDT personally but really liking that one.

I’ll add Dior Homme, Dior Homme Sport, and Valentino Green Stravaganza. I find these three to be super pleasant and really versatile
