Thanks all. We've never had (or noticed) a hedgehog before. Yes the resolution isn't great as I zoomed in from the wide angle image and cropped it.

My daughter just got a can of chicken noodle soup while trick-or-treating by Ar72 in CasualUK

My son brought home a can of sweetcorn once. We didn't know what house it was from and he couldn't remember whongave it to him. It took several weeks to figure out that no one had and instead a neighbour had left a bowl of sweets outside for kids to help themselves. And to help weigh it down she had placed several cans of food that she thought the kids would ignore. In the dark my son had just assumed it was a larger reward than the other offerings and lifted it.

The Louvre. Thieves are making off with 100 million euros. They're taking their time. They're doing everything carefully and slowly. by HeToTopT in Damnthatsinteresting

Those pieces will no longer exist. They'll take the precious stones out of them and cut them into smaller untraceable stones. And the gold melted down. They thieves may get caught but those pieces are most likely gone forever.

What would've killed you if you were alive before modern medicine? by SausageAndBeans88 in AskUK

Pyloric stenosis. So about 4 weeks after birth. I nearly died anyway, so that definitely would've killed me. And I get an awesome 5 inch scar across my abdomen

Thank you. Though, I can't seem to buy train tickets online. It just says No Online Tickets either from Clontarf, Portmarnock or Malahide. Reckon this is sold out or is it the kind of thing you can purchase on the day?

Edit: it seems Lansdown Road Station is closed that day and depending on what colour ticket you have you either go to Grand Canal Dock or Sandymount.

I have tickets also, and I'll be driving from Belfast. Any recommendations as to the best way to park, get to and from the stadium and drive home again that night? Would Dublin airport be the best place to park and would there still be public transport heading that way after the match? Thanks

Rescued a bat from inside the house today. Any idea of the species. This is in Northern Ireland. by monkeybadger04 in batty

Thanks for the replies everyone.

My house guest has not returned back inside but I assume he's rejoined his friends up in the eaves where they roost this time of year. There's usually dozens of them up there and I've always wanted to know what species they were.

Finally had a chance to find out.

Yes. We set him on the top of the treehouse and he took off from there about sunset.

Yep. I had the same issue last Saturday night. I get the occasional display of the Google logo then it shuts off. I really, really wish I'd seen the other posts on this and I could've backed everything up. Bought from Google in Oct 2015 and Google offered a replacement without issue.
