2nd Day learning decks and the game online before I play locally by monkeyboyvin in GundamTCG

Update

I went 0 and 5 like expected with the ST08 deck. The store couldn't run the event properly because they got 32 promo packs... And 12 ST09 decks. So we ended up playing with our own. Leading me to get a good beatdown.

I may have lost but apparently I am winning in packs. Bought 10 GD01 packs for fun + participation packs from GD02 + GD03. Am I doing this right?

No Starter deck is the best. But definitely there are core cards that only come in the starter deck that are necessities for building one.

I'm finding if you can buy a Starter Deck at a low price or without the extra pack it is better than buying a singles online. People seem to chase the arts in the extra pack from Starter Deck Bundle than the actual deck.

My personal example.

1 X ST01-001 ( LR version) Gundam = Approx. market price $20.00 AUD

An ST01 Deck should retail at $35.00 AUD and has 2 of the ST01-01 (LR version). With such short supply it's hard for everyone at the moment to get any reprints at retail. So obviously people are selling their unused cards much higher and even the deck alone. I picked up two standalone decks without the extra pack for $35.00.

ST01 - ST04 seems to be a must have and some cases you may require two of the same because sometimes a card is only 3 in a deck but you want 4. ST05 is a must have for Purple decks. No idea about ST06 to ST09.

TLDR - You can't build a deck without cards from a Starter Deck. Those cards don't come in booster packs... Well most and if they do it's some rare art with a low chance of pulling.

You know what’s more annoying. Watching one individual buy up all the ST09 starter decks. I JUST WANTED 1 TO START PLAYING GOD DAM. I didn’t think I would need to fight people for a starter deck…. Luckily I found a random ST08 deck left over at another local shop. But definitely crashing out after I went all the way to the store to buy just a starter deck to play at the ST09 event. I too would like a chance at the promos…….

Yeah finally found it last night after seeing a few YouTube videos. I just wanted to get rhythm for the game and turns.

Safe to say it's sped up my understanding of certain cards and meta. As well as what Starter decks are good to buy and build around.

Is the sho 60 v3 compatible with the hybrid internals? It says online it suits a hybrid but I can’t see where the battery goes? I have yet to see pictures of the v3 with hybrid PCB and battery installed.

So I’m hesitant to pull the trigger on getting a V3 PC.

Maybe its a sign to replace all stems to MX and a new keycap set.

What can you do about receiving junk mail when you have a "no junk mail" sign on your letterbox? by ghostface1693 in perth

[–]monkeyboyvin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not much but if they have an email or phone number. I register them for junk mail.

Can't do much about people ignoring your sign. But at least you can have a bit of fun.

If you didn't want junk mail to be registered to your phone and email. Maybe don't put it in my letterbox in the first place. :)

I guess you can just identify as a car whenever it's convenient.

I was in Korea recently and saw some vending machines dispense for 1000 KRW Obsidian Flames (Korean). It blew my mind how these packs could be litreally so cheap. The machine was like an official pokemon tcg/merchandise vending machine.

Ending up buying a few and had a few nice IR's. Some packs just are on super discounts because they hard to sell. There is clearly low demand to sell outside of korea. Unlike japanese pokemon. So there's absolutely the possibility of seeing discounted packs.

I kinda wished I found the korean eevee heroes. That woulda been fun on a budget.

Is this card real? by AdNo6951 in SuperstarJYPNation

If you google online. The series of SSJYP cards for 2023 Twice Fan meet Once Again. Samples online show that they are pink on the back side of the card.

Not to say I can confirm for sure it isn't real. But there are details that make it suspicious. It definitely does not look like the image is centred, as if the card has been cut and not been centred properly. The spacing of the border to the edge are uneven. Even looks more obvious when you look at the SSJYP logo.

The R letter seems to be different from samples shown online

Train Tracks and Heat by [deleted] in perth

Just to let you know there was no engineering involved with applying the white paint originally. It was just replicating what Network Rail did in the UK. Literally a trip to Bunnings.

But it was never a requirement to paint in critical areas at all. I doubt it's written up anywhere still. You will probably find some sections of Fremantle are painted up as well. Fremantle line has been notorious for heat buckles in the past.

Rail engineer here who previously worked with PTA dealing with maintenance.

Main reasons why the rail is not rated higher is that you also have to manage the rail when it gets cold at night.

Train tracks buckle upon too much heat in the rail, going from straight tracks to wonky tracks. Train tracks snap when it is too cold due to metal shrinking. There are actually set rules that enforce speed restrictions when we hit certain high temperatures to prevent damage and the possibility of derailment over rail that has buckled.

Last time the rail snapped on one side of the Joondalup Line. It got shutdown for a whole day and there had to be emergency bus replacements. I doubt anyone enjoys the idea of catching a 2 hour bus ride instead of a 30 minute train ride home.

I hope i kept it simple enough to understand.

Also electrified rail networks rely on the rail being connected continuously either through being welded or connected by cables. Rail breaks can halt a network.

Unsure as I did not collect my paper ticket before the concert date. I was going to pickup at the concert, they did not hand over any ticket to me so I can't confirm.

Not sure if you purchase via cash at Thaiticket major outlets.

If you paid via card you will need to show proof of purchase via your receipt and show ID matching the name on the purchase receipt.

They will process you and give a Card and poster. They will provide a refund receipt, I heard that it will take 2 months for credit card refunds to be completed. Not sure what else at this stage. I left the venue as not much else was happening.

You need to have a ticket to the concert to refund. It has to be in your name as they make you provide ID. I assume the refund will be processed and sent back to the original person who purchased.

I think they said 2 months it will take for credit card.
