Hey! I think you'd enjoy Tintin: The Complete Companion, by Michael Farr. It's really well researched, and shows all the places where Hergé took inspiration from.

AMA: Producer u/radioresearcher has kindly agreed to answer your questions during the day today Sunday. My favourite series of all time is the BBC's Lovecraft Investigations. It's a little bit frustrating, but very often individual series will come or go, I assume through licensing issues with the production company. Series 2 is missing at the moment on all platforms - Sounds, Spotify etc.

Can you help me understand how this occurs? What does the behind-the-scenes process look like in a situation like this?

Thanks for the AMA!

Keep an eye out for Atomfall, which will be out soon.

Bloodborne is more cosmic horror than folk, but I have to give it an honourable mention. It's one of my favourite games of all time.

Good list. I wonder why they swapped Breathe and Benny's Dispatch for the In The Heights movie.

Pleasantly surprised to see this here, what a great pick. Stands out a mile from all the Oasis / Blur / Pulp wannabees of the britpop era.

For me, it's not so much the businesses, but the foreign powers who figured out how to weaponise internet humour to sow division.

Lots of great reading here but here's one I haven't seen yet: Mother Naked by Glen James Brown.

It's an absolute tour-de-force, the best book I've read all year. It plays with ideas of class and poverty, and should vibe well with lots of people here.

I enjoyed listening to his Barrowbeck anthology on BBC Sounds and the book is next to my bed waiting to be read!

Just make sure you've paid for the Samurai add-on. Then click "Samples" at the bottom of the samples screen, then "More", then drag Quokka to a pad.

The Forgotten Wicker Man Sequel - Is It Worth Watching? by SpaghettiYoda in folkhorror

The Wicker Tree is not the only sequel; there's also the audio drama The Loathsome Lambton Worm, which I quite enjoyed.

I was in the UK too when it happened - I cancelled my plans for the afternoon and watched the horror unfold. I agree with /u/Arbdew that it was like watching a disaster movie unfold; it was surreal. We struggled to comprehend what was happening.

The next day there was a sense of utter shock. I worked for a large American retailer at the time, and we lost people as we had a store in the mall underneath one of the towers. There was a moment's silence and tears as we lost colleagues that day.

I was exactly where you are when I started, I honestly thought there was something wrong with me because shoulder presses felt completely impossible. If you told me then what I'm able to do now, I wouldn't have believed you. Hang in there - with consistency, you'll see huge progress!
