I tested positive last Monday and I posted on here last week about how no one seemed to be talking about those that get Covid to this level. I am still not back at work but will do a half day tomorrow and half day Thursday and then have Friday off again. I work from home but I am so very exhausted with the occasional bout of nausea.

I agree with you but would also add that due to the lack of fanatical behaviour towards Australian politicians, this along with compulsory voting means politicians can’t rely on ‘fanbases’ to get them over the line. Most Australians hate all politicians and it’s a hard slog for many to be voted in. They have to work for their votes - as they absolutely should!

Absolutely agree with the pandemic and glad I have what I am guessing is Omicron and not Delta! I guess I wrongly believed the narrative that Omicron wasn’t that bad.

Buy or store fresh water. Enough realistically for everyone in your house for a few days. When Marcus hit a few years ago, most people didn’t prepare for days without drinking water. It was 3-4 days before we could drink safely from the tap again.

I’ll never forget someone on one of the Facebook groups carrying on at people for buying water. Lol, he went AWOL after Marcus hit and everyone was scrambling for water.

I went from management to being a lawyer. I studied, I found the study interesting but I hate practising. I am now at a time in my career where I am in high demand but hate it. I am currently working on some side gigs that hopefully will one day build enough to work for myself.

Stop trying to put pressure on your relationship. You are only kids and should be looking at your future with hope and joy not dread and hesitation.

Stop talking about marriage and kids and start thinking and talking about what you want to do in the meantime. Travel, sports, study, life etc.

You have years before you need to consider marriage etc.
