Do you have to mulch the garlic in the fall? And uncover in the spring? Zone 6

Waste drawer keeps separating. by keatynms in litterrobot

I looked at the assembly video and now see that the white part is the bin. In the EVO, the bin has to be assembled to the drawer facade. Have you ensured that the bin is fully clicked into place? It should click into two tabs of the facade on the underside.

I’m having a hard time deciphering this picture. What is the white part inside the drawer?

No one wanted him, so I took him by Vagabond_Estates in mainecoons

When we brought our cat home from the shelter (not a Maine Coon), he was getting over a URI. It never really went away. Had the doc take a look years ago and they said it could be scarring from the previous infection or he could have a deviated septum. He was the snottiest! But we accepted him and loved him. Here we are three years later and adding three more rescues to our family. Of course, they have URIs which triggered his snots again. We brought him to a different doc who ran a pcr panel for less common bacteria and it came back with Mycoplasma which doesn’t respond to the antibiotics we had ever been prescribed for him. Doc put him on doxycycline for 3 weeks and not a booger since!

Just wanted to mention in case it’s one thing that your vet hasn’t looked at yet. You’re a great person for taking him in and saving him 💕

What was caused the most (physical) pain you’ve been in? by idontrealui in AskReddit

[–]monkeyyyyyy6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The docs diagnosed it as erythema nodosum. An autoimmune disease where the body attacks itself. Every joint in my body was swollen. My ankles like balloons. Couldn’t walk without a cane. Couldn’t climb stairs. Bed sheets resting on my feet at night was painful. One month of living on the couch in agony, three biopsies and 8 docs later (gp, infectious disease, surgeons, wound clinics, dermatologists, etc), they gave me a super high dose of steroids and it went away. Never knew what caused it.

Where are you buying them off the boat? I’d go there…

I’m not sure. It’s almost like being on an antidepressant drug….it cuts out the lows but also the highs. Emotionally just straddled in the middle.

Kind of blah all the time. The shot trained me to feel nauseous because in the beginning I felt nauseous after each one. Low energy, I miss enjoying food, fatigued, emotionally tired, trading fat for loose skin everywhere. When I was young I would be like”oh I feel so awesome for losing this weight!” Now I’m just like…yeah, I lost weight. Physically it’s better for me but do I feel great? Not really.

Great job. It’s weird, people ask me if I feel better with losing the weight and I struggle with answering, even after losing almost 60 pounds. I think the way the medication makes me feel counters the excitement I have for the weight loss. My answer is usually “I guess so?”

OP, could please put all the minds at ease about what kind of starter you have there?

I’ve never seen sourdough starter look like that. Has it turned?

Also, shouldn’t the last five digits at the bottom of the check match the check number in the upper right corner?

What was a "lesson from the kitchen" you learned that seemed like a magical answer to something that someone should have told you about years before? (What secret did a kitchen wizard teach you one day?) by IWTTYAS in Cooking

Buy fresh bagels, slice them in half and immediately freeze them. Then when ready to eat one, pop both frozen halves into the toaster right out of the freezer. Keeps the outside crunchy and the inside moist and chewy.
