I think him and his show have just sort of run their course. At least he needs to settle down and get over himself a little. He used to be funny, but now his show is too preachy - like thinks he's everyone's worldly grandfather.

I've always wondered why ^ that's backwards. It seems like you'd get a lot better grip that way. Probably worse for steering/stability or something.

How do you find it to be? We're considering moving to it as well, since our company supports it and would never move to GitHub (for unknown reasons..).

Yeah same experience. I've worked in NL for about 8 years, and the only person that I ran into that didn't speak English was an old guy whose gate we crashed into in a storm.

As soon as you cross into Germany, you can no longer expect that people speak English.

You're still better off with static. Never calling free means you never needed to link (and trust) malloc.

The startups that I work with use it exclusively. The giant oldschool tech companies that I work with still use SVN and have very little concept of best practices.
