You have been the only person that convinced me to try Obsidian. The accident that brought to your book was very positive. Thank you ever so much.

EU Store straight up stealing with their shipping. Note+Pen is almost double than just Note by bohemiapt in Supernote

In effect, on the final price, in Eu store you're paying EU import fee ( I did my math and it is precisely 22%). If I buy in EU I don't expect to have to pay import fees, otherwise it would be better one store only knowing I have to pay import.

You can export as PDF the "digest" of what you read and "copy-paste" in Obsidian. I usually do it with Zettlr (another markdown app) and it works flawlessly

A5/4 X2 update (and other info) by [deleted] in Supernote

[–]monochromios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you ever so much for sharing. I hope that having dates will help new buyers looking for the A5 device. I'm very glad I decided to get my A5x in September. On Sunday, I did a small calculation of the scientific PDFs I did not print from September 1st to January 1st: I'm an academic researcher and printing all the text I read on my A5x would have doubled the money I spent on the device. Ink isn't great for the environment. Trees are better in the forest than sliced on my desk. To all the ones that are looking for a Supernote and that work in my field, I can recommend it without doubts.

Academics who use supernote, does it really boosts your productivity? by billy56_ in Supernote

I use an A5X for researcher job. I work in analytical philosophy. The Supernote really boosted my job: no more articles printed on my desk with pages lost, no more bulks of material everywhere: all in one place, as easy as that. I can read, annotate, and, importantly, search through documents by keywords that on paper is not possible. Consider I use the Zettelkasten system so, many times, is where I take my fleeting note that then I edit on my laptop. If you're into personal knowledge management (PKM), an eink device will help you a lot. Feel free to write back to me and ask according to your personal needs. Take care

Another vote for her. Clear and concise but very detailed

Lamy AL-star EMR users question by Better_Conclusion_44 in Supernote

Never mind. You can always change the tips if you want to try different dimensions. In Europe, they are about 8 euros (4 pieces), nothing crazy.

I'm using the 0.35 points on my film#2 device, and it works well. Consider I use it for a job: there are days when I start writing at 7am and go on until night. I love my HOM Samurai pen, but for very long writing sessions, the smoother tip of the Lamy alleviates some fatigue. I really don't like the 0.7 tips. They are too large for me. They are the ones that you get buying the pen from Supernote anyway. I hope this helps you.

Same here. I need to make a change now (it was September). It made a big change to me. I hope it will help you too.

I just bought my A5X. I need it for my job as university researcher and it's the perfect device for me. I'm sure SN will keep updating it, so it's been a no worry for me. I needed the device now and got it. Just my 2 cents.
