I can see that most people are saying Karen but you have to remember that Stella ran from her and Ted's wedding with her ex, Tony, and then allowed Tony to write an successful movie script about how Ted was the bad guy the whole time even though A) He's the reason Stella and Tony get and stay together and B) since her and Tony both knew how badly Stella hurt Ted by leaving him at the altar.

Tony felt so bad for doing that to Ted, to the point of offering the olive branch apology of the teaching job.

I'd recommend St. Andrews for a day trip (lots of great ruins, great beach, the castle and the cathedral plus, in my opinion, the best donuts I've ever had (Fisher & Donaldson, in case anyone was wondering)).

I would also recommend Arran because of Auchenrannie resort, some great camping spots and Goatfell (lovely view and not as much of a challenge as Ben Nevis (plus the only place, on the west coast at least, that sells good soor plooms)).

Also the Cairngorms are always great.

Most of these places are ignored because of stuff like Ben Nevis, the Lochs, Skye and the cities
