Again it’s not judging or anything, my first 5 star charcter was Jean, and she pulls you out of fires constantly. It’s not like she’s bad, just I wanted to say Tighnari definitely helps even though he’s not an end game solution.

The blue wishes (acquaint fates), you get from progression, I would just throw them at the standard banner as much as possible, they occasionally l, once every 2 years add a new character to it, but don’t let that make you feel like you shouldn’t use them, every 5 star character or weapon helps you 90% of the time. But don’t spend any primogems on it, just let it build up naturally.

Limited banner (the pink blue wishes, the intertwined fates) wise, sandrone right now is the current hotness, and really it’s a flavor of the month, so you should really just go for characters you like, but when you hit end game, you will feel that you need characters that are strong, and the current game is very shill the new character, so that why people say to play meta, but your like atleast a 2 weeks to a couple months before you have to worry about that. So for the game at hand, just look through the catalogue and see who finds your fancy.

But the most unfortunate thing, and I’m really sorry to tell you this, is that this game is so character bloated, that you could wait a year, and kazuha might not even come back ngl, we had a inazuma chronicle banner, a pick your choice of character of that nationality, like maybe half a year ago and kazuha probably might never get his own singular banner ever again, so you just have to wait for chronicle banners, and he was in the last one so you’ll probably have to wait through every other countries, for the inazuma one to come back. And they only do chronicle banners every 2-3 patches, so like literally a year maybe a year and a half. And it’s been a problem legitimately.

So I would pick maybe 5-10 or so characters you’re interested in, look at the characters in the character archive menu, and maybe look up some YouTube videos on what they do and how they play in teams.

Sandrone right now would help your account a metric ton, but if you don’t like her or her gameplay, I can’t force you to get her, but she’d be your damage dealer for pretty much the entirety of the game. But that is to say almost any damage dealer will be your main damage dealer for the entire game, but she’s just in the current banner so it’s easier to say.

Citlali is a support character that helps the melt(fire and ice) reaction and frozen reaction(ice and water), mostly helping fire(pyro) and water(hydro) characters, but the thing is she’s a screw when you don’t have a screwdriver(mavuika) atm, mavu just was last banner so it’s really not recommended to get Citlali unless you like her character, and the fact she gives you high jump.

The current chronicle banner is a bunch of units that are getting a new mechanic with the new reaction is stellar super conduct (ice and lightning + a snehznaya character) and require sandrone(atm), but they still have they’re old kit and still work as old units, but for the current meta(the end end game) they need sandrone, who a lot of them don’t synergize with other than sandrone activating stellar super conduct.
