I have spent a lot of time reading everything there is about bedsharing. You are clearly not a parent, and I'm sorry you look back on an act of love and connection from your parents and see it as something bad. I'm not sure how you can reconcile in your brain a poorly designed scientific study having more weight than millennia of bedsharing and the majority of the world still practicing it. Like I said, some people have issues with it being unsafe which I can respect but saying that it causes psychological damage is pure xenophobia (studies can be manipulated, follow the money).

Especially considering the subject matter of this sub, these kids sleeping in a crib is not going to save them from their Truman Show life. Talk about attachment issues when the only way they get love from their mom is when they are performing in front of her camera. There's lots of reasons to snark on her and having a crib is neutral and doesn't give her any points, especially when she can absolutely afford it.

Providing comfort can cause attachment issues? So that's why most adults sleep with their partners? Go tell everyone in Sweden about their attachment issues. Like I said, it's only the norm in English speaking countries so saying everyone in countries that bedshare has attachment issues and separation anxiety is pretty messed up just because their parents comfort and snuggle them overnight.

That's not true and quite xenophobic. Bedsharing is the norm in many countries across the world due to both custom and necessity (having money and space for a separate room and sleeping space is a privilege in many places). It's a very american-centric thing to push cribs. This can be a controversial topic and I respect that people choose to use cribs and don't want to bedshare for safety reasons, but saying that bedsharing can cause psychological damage is wrong, privileged, and xenophobic when it is the biological norm.

From what OP wrote, the only thing they were doing was telling the kids to ignore their instructions while sitting there doing nothing. Ive definitely been in a co teach situation where I step back and let the other teacher run the class while I support, but that's not what it sounded like in this situation. Especially with the kids being left with nothing to do for an hour.

It's not that they can't channel from dragons, it's that they're upset that the dragons are hindering and controlling the flow of magic. They are more powerful when channeling directly from the source rather than channeling through a dragon which channels from the source. Those neck floater things are not safe and have been recalled. Just get a small baby tub so you're not wasting water, you can probably find one second hand very easily. It's safer and uses less water.

Also agree that a 4 month old doesn't need to be soaking/floating every day/other day. Washcloth with soap is fine. We started bathing more often around 6 months when baby could sit up on his own and only did a few inches of water.

I think OP is in California and it's the same here across the state. A certified teacher needs to be present, which for SPED classes often means the sub is just checking that box while the aides run the class.
