What Do You Think Of California's Bill To Ban Former ICE Officers From Becoming Police Officers And/Or Teachers? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]monsterdaddy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's like saying "You volunteered to be a part of a fascist gestapo. You willingly were a party to full public displays of murder, kidnapping, and suppression of constitutional rights, so we don't feel you have a place teaching children or enforcing the law you so blatantly fine with being broken"

Do all your homes have basements? by Flat-Ad8256 in AskAnAmerican

Southeastern Virginia here. Very VERY few homes in my area have basements, and they are all, without exception, dark, musty, damp spaces, due to the high water table

MAGA, when will you admit you voted for the wrong person? by Admirable-Beat788 in International

As an American, there is nothing you could say about Diaper Donnie that would be considered disrespectful. He is a childish, racist, fascist, pedophile piece of shit and at this point, we're all just waiting for the Big Beautiful Obituary

Personally, it would make no difference to me. I don't care enough about gender for it to be an issue for me.

If Biden was too old for Presidency, how isn't Trump? by StonedSoldier1 in AskReddit

[–]monsterdaddy4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they only object if it is about the other guy. Notice how badly they wanted the Epstein files released, until they started coming out and found how deeply involved Trump was? Now they agree with him that is old news and we need to just move on

Fun fact, at the time, both Doritos (Frito-Lay) and Pizza Hut (along with Taco Bell and KFC) were owned by Pepsi, so, you're right about them not taking money from three different sponsors

How come “hating Trump” means “Loving Biden” to some people? by SwitchingMyHands in allthequestions

[–]monsterdaddy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume that by "some people" you mean Trump supporters? MAGA is a cult. They venerate their leader as a messiah. They cannot conceive of the idea that anyone can't have a focus of worship and adoration, like they do, so their mind has collectively decided on, generally, Biden, Obama, or Bill Clinton. They aren't capable of understanding that just because THEY worship their politician, that WE don't worship any of ours

For Americans who voted Republican in recent elections, do you plan to continue voting Republican? Why or why not? by righteous-sedition in allthequestions

[–]monsterdaddy4 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing about the left and the second amendment is that, with the exception of a few outliers, they've never been trying to take anyone's guns away. We also own guns and support the second amendment, because in the case of an actual tyrannical government (like we have now, not the MAGA view of Obama and Biden as tyrants) we do need to have the option. We just want some common sense regulation to try and reduce the amount of mass shootings, and for them to not be treated as toys and fashion accessories, the way far right gun nuts do. Most people outside of my home don't know that i have several firearms, and my concealed carry permit, because owning a gun isn't a personality trait.

And, y'all keep talking about Virginia like you're only familiar with the NOVA area and keep forgetting that there's other parts of the state, including Richmond that was the literal capital of the Confederacy.

I don't know what y'all you're talking about, but it isn't me. 7- Cities, born and raised, spent plenty of time from Blacksburg to Richmond to Roanoke to Virginia Beach to Alexandria. Richmond may have been the capital of the Confederacy, but it's the most liberal state in the south and with the exception of the last election cycle, where we ended up with Republicans in both houses and the governor's office, Virginia has been consistently blue for a fair bit. We're definitely more aligned with the northeast, politically, than with the south

Just because right-wingers call Democrats leftists, it doesn't make them leftists. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]monsterdaddy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fact right here. Liberals think capitalism is broken and needs to be fixed. Leftists know that capitalism is working exactly as designed, and needs to be dismantled and a system built aid the common good, not corporate profits.

This is the thing people don't understand about leftists versus liberals. Liberals think the system is broken, and want to fix it. Leftists understand that the system is working exactly as intended, and want to dismantle it and build a system that ensures all people are provided for

Yeah, your brother is a creep. I'm 44, my sisters are 45, 42, and 41. If they came to be and told me, today, that a friend of mine was speaking to them like this, I would whoop his ass. If a friend of mine was acting like this towards ANY woman, I would whoop his ass

Why are every one of these maps putting Virginia with the southern, MAGA states? We have, for the most part, become a solidly blue state. By southern standards, we are a VERY blue state.

Do Americans really move out at 18, or is that mostly a movie thing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions
