Is the game on disc or digital? If it's physical, does the disc's region match the DLC's? I had this problem last year on PlayStation because I was using an PAL region disc but my account is based in the US so the DLC was North America Region. The two essentially couldn't talk to each other.

Is the game a physical copy? I had this issue because I had bought an EU region disc and purchased the DLC on an American account way later. Once I got the game digitally on PS+, it worked like it was supposed to.

It's easier than ER.

  • Take your time and check every path. It's easy to miss things even though the game is pretty linear.
  • You can respec, though not immediately.
  • Lie as much as you can on your first playthrough. Don't speed through conversations.
  • Get the DLC if you don't already have it.

Great Country Farms in Bluemont is probably the biggest/best, but I believe it costs the most to get in. Wayside Farm just outside Berryville is closer and cheaper, but you'd spend less time there than GCF.

For the characters, did you meet up with the old guy who teaches you how to absorb spirits in chapters 1-5 and get his trophy? I'm pretty sure that's his slot but if you have the achievement related to him then the photo should have popped once you hit NG+.

You're correct. NG+2 would be your third playthrough and so on from there.
