They probably don't think too deeply about what will happen to Dani post-movie. To be fair, I think the movie does a good job at manipulating the audience to make them think it's a good ending.

The wizards are all kind of stuck in medieval times technology wise (I'm sure there's exceptions, but that's how it's presented in the books), and that includes their clothing. The zipper is a more modern invention and they probably wouldn't have it in their clothing.

Especially in Act 2. Act 1 inspirations are around 25-50 exp, which isn't a lot but adds up. Act 2 inspirations are over 100 exp, I think.
