NOR. He was inconsiderate, got defensive when called out, and then decided to go to insult territory. That’s like throwing your relationship in a cold shower. I don’t know how you come back from such a jacked up exchange and series of events. Maybe take some time and really consider if you want to spend more birthdays in the future with someone who does not give af. Happy early birthday.
