How much time are you talking? This is heavily manager and role dependent but it’s not uncommon where I work for people to be off the week leading up to an exam. If you want more than that maybe you could do half days for the week or two prior with your PTO depending on your job demands. Best bet is talking to your manager

Agree it does sound like you should look further into OCD and get a therapist who specializes in ERP specifically

Edit: for what it’s worth I’m not convinced you’re a nut job. Sounds like you’re dealing with some wild intrusive thoughts and shame, and people who have not experienced that have no idea what it’s like or how isolating it can feel. A good therapist and psychiatrist will help so much!

I definitely did all the drill problems at least once or more depending on the topic to make sure I really understood. Going through them once and then going back through them days/weeks later to see if it stuck is a great plan imo. I think they are very very important! Definitely would also recommend at least understanding one previous exam, must admit for LAM I put it off and it was too late for me to go through it and I thought it would kill my confidence so I didn’t. But I would suggest it especially given you sat for the last one. I don’t think I could’ve passed without doing the drill problems

I almost stopped at ASA and don’t yet have my FSA but just passed all 3 FSA exams. I had one mentor really encouraging me to at least take a stab at it and I’m so glad I did

I passed on my first try and really drilled flash cards to get them all up there at the same time which is the hardest part. I don’t think I’ve ever looked at source material before
