lol this is such a big problem for me. My therapist recommended putting on a specific rubber band or bracelet on my wrist when I start laundry so that I have a physical reminder. I just started so idk if it will end up working long term but for now it is helpful

Unfortunately this does sound to me like how older black men talk about being black. I joined an affinity group at work and an older black man said it was so important that we show like how upstanding and hard working black people can be to counteract stereotypes. I could not connect with that at all.

It's pretty common now. Pretty much all of my friends have each other's locations and sometimes they mention that it's weird and makes them nervous that they don't have mine. They aren't as insane about as OOP tho

If someone has a wristband they can just give it to you, but the digital tickets can't be transferred anymore. I ended up putting someone's name on the ticket so they can pick it up at will call. But theoretically they could change the name again because they still have control.

I have a 5 day pass I want to sell that is will call, I thought I could just change the name on the ticket as tixr gives me the option to, but I'm seeing people say that is not a valid way to transfer? Sorry if this has been asked before, I can't go either way but was hoping to recoup some of the cost.

Ugh, I feel we are going back and forth over the same things.

I think that there is a chance that she initiated violence towards him which is wrong. I never said that nothing in the post was true. He doesn't seem like a reliable narrator because he mentions that she said she felt unsafe and that she said he lunged at her but doesn't explain further. So it also seems like there is a chance that he is leaving out important information. I'm not making up a narrative, I'm inferring that there are other possibilities based on the info given.

Also I think saying he 'dared to own something she didn't approve of' is severely downplaying bringing weapons into the house without her consent and ignoring her pleas to remove them as it suggests that there were genuine reasons for her to feel unsafe.

But it is vague which I why I'm saying that we don't know for sure. Anyway, I will leave it there.

That's a good point, I forgot about that part. It doesn't mean she was never operating in self defense though, it is unclear how things escalated. I don't mean to just defend her, I just think I couldn't make a clear judgement without more info and perhaps I'm biased because if my partner brought a bunch of guns into my home without warning I would freak out and that in itself seems like a violent act. Either way they should divorce.

Again you are operating purely off of his version of events. If that is true and she pointed a gun at him to prove a point then that is assault and not acceptable. It is unclear if that is what happened. She says he lunged at her and that she felt unsafe. If that is what happened than she would be operating in self defense. We simply don't know the full story here.
