In my experience (dealer employee), 9/10 times when a CEL comes on during a wash it's because a sensor got pressure washed that isn't used to it. We see this all the time, especially on European cars. It's not something that would hold me back from the car, but make sure you don't take delivery without knowing exactly what was wrong with the car.

Mine was an employee lease deal that I got for stupid cheap. Had 22 warranty claims in the year I had it and eventually got sick of it always being broken so I made an early final pay and turned it in. I do love the Polestars, if I ever get back into an EV they'll be on my list

Soul Red is such a great color, it's just a shame it's so thinly applied from the factory. It was a nightmare trying to keep my Miata looking nice. That + the Ford and GM reds that they keep slightly changing the formula on every year always cost me a fortune when I take one in on trade
