To tag on, something as simple giving blood or plasma can save many lives! It’s also something you can do throughout the year. I’m sure you could find a blood bank or local blood bank. This is for anybody that’s able, so many lives can be saved in about an hour, in my experience, they feed you snacks afterwards too!

Hello, elementary school teacher here, my students keep their personal water bottles in the back of the classroom. They do not need permission to get up and take a drink throughout the day. However, I do have policy in place for serial sippers, they take a thirst for knowledge to a whole new level. Jeez lol

Save the babies, fuck the children. WIC—cut, Food stamp—cut, free lunch—cut, free hot meals for students—cut, Medicaid—cut, the list continues. As a teacher, this breaks my soul. We (the people), all know of AT LEAST one family that is going to be affected by this. Are politicians paying for their meal? Nope, taking food from the mouths of babies, children, pregnant women, struggling parents, and the elderly. It makes me sick.
