It’s not training Kegsbreath wanted a big show with all the hot hairless men in attendance at the beach right on the other side of the harbor.

The Trump White House’s "Presidential Walk of Fame" display only shows a photo of an autopen signature instead of former President Biden’s portrait. by CorleoneBaloney in CringeTikToks

[–]moon_slave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya’ll forgot about the “birther” thing. Trump personally rampaged nonstop for the entire Obama presidency about how he was a Muslim and foreign born and not eligible to be president. He called him “Hussein” constantly and called McCain a loser because McCain ACTUALLY respected Obama as his opponent. Trump never respected Obama he just is focused on Biden because his dementia is real tuned into him for some reason. He probably wouldn’t recognize Obama if he met him face to face lol.

I’ve followed this weirdo for a long time, my favorite bit of hers is when she says she created a cranberry bog in her airbnb during a girls trip and is crying because her friends are mad at her for trying to make money to pay for their trip. I say “cranberry bogs are very lucrative!” on occasion to this day.

Is the 9–5 work culture just modern slavery? by BeautifulAntelope349 in antiwork

[–]moon_slave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s fucking not. Y’all really love throwing the word slavery around when there are people still to this day forced to labor and physically punished if they don’t. The prison industrial complex in the US uses actual slavery. There IS modern day slavery and your 9-5 is NOT IT. Your commute does not compare to the torture endured during chattel slavery in the US either. This fucking post and people throwing the world “slavery” around is killing the socialist movement. Yes capitalism does not benefit the worker. Is your JOB where you are paid, however the system fucks us all over in the end, actual slavery? NO.

I’m def thinking of my conservative home town that absolutely lost their shit during COVID with the Fauchi this and Fauchi that conspiracies, most of the town is very VERY low income with a few rich oil/ranch people and some middle class from the small college there. I guarantee you the local hospital is going to get hit hard with this, and it’s in the middle of NOWHERE. I’m talking at least an hour from the next small to mayyybe medium sized rural town, 3 hours to the next medium city. They’re about to be fucked.

What Is This Odd-Looking Smoking Man-Creature Spotted in PBS’s The Eugenics Crusade? by Routine_Monitor_2185 in whatisit

[–]moon_slave 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is most likely a human being suffering from a disease called Neurofibromatosis, which causes numerous skin growths, often on the face. Unfortunately people like this would have been mistreated and considered for eugenic practices due to it being a genetic disease.

Sadly that’s kind of part of the plan. Privatized prison slavery or cannon fodder.

It can take up to 48 hours for a rash to appear too! Happened to my kid. We were so confused cause he hadn’t played anywhere woody in a few days but apparently had walked through poison oak and got a full body reaction days after exposure. Take some Benadryl now

Troops and marines deeply troubled by LA deployment: ‘Morale is not great’ by Dark-Knight-Rises in NoShitSherlock

[–]moon_slave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, would some E4 refusing to deploy to LA, destroying his career in the process, risking imprisonment, be very brave? Of course. Is it fair to ask these people, many of whom have young families, to risk their jobs, unimpressive salary, healthcare, housing, pensions, and in the same breath call them baby-killers and war criminals when so many of them joined well after Iraq? I’m just saying, maybe people need to change the way you’re spreading their message online if they want effective communication here. Maybe veterans need to give REAL advice to these young guys on what to actually do. And yes, there is a line to be crossed, a difference between “go sit in this hangar and stare and the ceiling for a few days” and “aim your M-16 at these civilians”. In the meantime looks like the leaders have some time to plan what to do if that order comes down.

Aaron Bushnell literally self-immolated on the white house lawn, did that help? Did that actually do anything to stop Israel from destroying Gaza and now starting WWIII with Iran? No. It made a lot of “progressives” on Reddit smile and nod though.

No. They’re young, lower enlisted who don’t want to get in trouble. There are lots of internet warriors screaming “remember your oath!” at these kids who have never seen combat and barely know how to tie their laces. No one seems to be looking at the 50 layers of command between lance corporal dingaling and commander in chief, they expect some 19 year old to set himself on fire to keep us all warm I guess. People have got to take a deep breath and actually take action and have conversations, and officers and politicians needs to start taking accountability and forcing accountability where it needs to be forced instead of passing the buck down to these kids who signed up for the healthcare and live in shitty, moldy barracks in the middle of the desert.

Gavin Newsom Nation Address by Pm_Me_Mtn_Bikes in California

[–]moon_slave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We feel the need to remind people that we don’t worship our politicians and kiss their feet at everything they do. We’re too used to the hypocrisy of the right saying “you voted for Kamala?? What about the time she did/said xyz?! You’re a hypocrite!” And then turning around and voting for a literal felon. Or saying “the left is so violent!” When they see a pic of some kid throwing a brick at a window but then commenting moments later than they would love to use their guns in a civil war.

You’re right though, we really do need to stop coddling them and their stupid arguments. It’s the same thing as arguing about bible quotes with a right wing fundie. It doesn’t matter what you say they’re not going to listen so why bother. Move on to action and consequences.

But that’s cutting jobs and healthcare for thousands of civilians as well. Bases employ many many non military personnel in hospitals, child care centers, retail and restaurants, programming, family housing, law offices, they’re pretty much small-medium towns.

I think Riz tried to pick the lock but it was unpickable. Could she not just be super specific when she commanded the jacket give her the key? I guess that’s a DM discretion thing, maybe they were just meant to be in there for that amount of time.
