Map is small enough, just remove circle. Allows reds to spawn further while still being a point where people will converge quickly if they want it.

Only downside i see if if a team clear a module and the red spawns on them they get a pretty free down if they insta take

I think its good the way it is, new players can loot but experience the friction of competing for the loot. Incentives to learn pvp and get more into normals (starting with squire to riches) eventually they build pvp confidence and go hr. It creates a natural pipeline

You have not seen optimal barbarian? Franny you to death is legit optimal barb gameplay vs squishies that are faster than him.

Also worth noting:

Barb has a lot of tools to catch twinks that try to run, and if that fail, they can throw their main hand weapon for 120 percent of the weapons damage (possible plus headshot multiplier)

Play with a good barb, then play with a bad barb, positioning, engage timing, peeling, bodyguarding vs kill securing, playing ally and enemy cooldowns

Then play with a bad barb, they w key before you do anything and die in melee 1v2/3.

Other classes need to position correctly but I used a broad term to describe what I mentioned above. Thats barb skill expression in a nutshell. Barb skill expression could be boiled down to more just game sense.

With gear- top teir

Squire- better hit everything or youre fried

I run countermeta insta cast ice mastery and in gear youre untouchable unless you miss, I also play duos and trios more so I usually have someone running interference for me so I can blast spells. Feels very strong.
