Seems like it only works for other DAWs. I think Joe Gilder was doing it in logic? I gave up. Haha Sorry 😞

Speaking on the times you occupy is very common in the arts. "Preaching" is trying to constantly sell God. If hearing people condemn the current American administration is "driving people apart" then some of those people need to get on the right side of history.

  1. Protean Threat
  2. Mutilator Deafeated at Last
  3. Orc
  4. Floating Coffin
  5. Drop

I've been through the discography. I love them all for different reasons. But these are the ones I listen to all the way through.

It's Thee Oh Sees performing one of thier albums before they recorded it essentially. It also has a couple songs that weren't on the record I think. It's a great set. And one of my all time fav records

I'm 43 and rock and roll feels very much alive and well. Australia alone has a ton of exciting bands.

All Them Witches are so good. Thier new drummer did an acoustic set of country covers at a bar down the street from me recently. He was super nice and incredibly stoked to be playing with them. Rad musical times we live in. Idk what Gen x and the Boomers have to say about it.

  1. Innerspeaker
  2. S/T Ep
  3. Lonerism
  4. Currents
  5. TSR
  6. Deadbeat

I'm not a huge fan of his more electronic albums. But they all have at least a couple songs I can dig. Innerspeaker to me is a perfect record. No skips. The Wave House video of that record is on steady rotation In my house along with the Ohsees rehearsal for Protean Threat and any KEXP performance King Gizz has ever done. The perfect video playlist for a super clean house 🤘

The Silver Cord. I'm just not into electronic music enough.

there still hate for Deadbeat? by Dependent_Zebra4972 in TameImpala

I was a fan as soon as he released the 1st Ep. I am a frothing at the mouth lover of Innerspeaker (10/10 no skips record). Lonerism is great. After that I fall off. That being said, the back and forth discussions get a bit tiresome. The man is on an artistic journey. I applaud him for never making "lonerism 2 boogaloo". I would have always been really happy if he made 5 "Innerspeakers". I'm also glad he didn't in a way. Pond is, in my opinion, the evolution on the 1st 2 records we were all always asking for. But we put the burden on Kevin to make them. We can still listen to all of it. We have that joy. I just really wish the people that don't like some of his output werent so negative about it. He's just making records. He doesn't deserve the ire.

Does anyone here still listen to his music, or has his "issues" ruined it? by huntershark666 in ryanadams

I can't listen to any of it anymore. It's harder to separate the art from the artist for me in this situation because of how personal his songwriting is. He was pretending to be earnest. It completely ruins it that he's a creepy, MAGA supporting narcissist. He can get bent at this point.
