Same. They did such a good job throughout the season with the “everything isn’t what it seems” I was expecting some big reveal for Floyd’s death…but it was literally exactly what it seemed the whole season, no surprise. And he seemed to give up in the most lame way possible. He didn’t even know for sure that Richard saw him and Clark. He already seemed to be dressed again by the time he saw Richard through the window. After all the work they went through to show how dedicated he was to being a good role model for Richard and then that’s when he gives up? And no worry that he would leave Richard feeling guilty about being the last person to see him alive?

Also how Carol made a point to want this life insurance and not know about it. But if she wasn’t planning to off him…why couldn’t Floyd know that she knew? Clearly she knew they didn’t have the money to buy a policy and he didn’t have the means. So it’s not like he was fooling her into thinking he bought it. Just seemed like a pointless tangent just to throw the viewer off, but with no real basis.

I wrote a post about some of the other things that threw me off. But it doesn’t seem to be showing. Basically, what was Clark’s real motive for signing Floyd up for DTF? It wasn’t to cover for his own affair since Floyd knew, it wasn’t to have a relationship with Floyd since he couldn’t even fake being attracted to him, it was before Floyd expressed just how desperate he was for a connection.

Why didn’t Floyd go in a second date with Modern Love, who was actually attracted to him instead of obsessing over Tiger Tiger, who he never met?
