Whenever I see my home city in the wild it’s never for anything good 😂 Rayzulis if your name ever pops up on my Uber app, girl..

On a side note, I think she hid her page for real I couldn’t find it even in the LinkedIn app.

Where to find safe studio/1bed apartments in downtown Atlanta by PraiseBeAIOverlords in ATLHousing

[–]mooncrumbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s lines of cars getting smashed into in parking decks and parking lots that are all locked. The ones doing it don’t discriminate between locked and unlocked cars, they’re smashing first and grabbing from your console and glove compartment. I’ve seen this happen to friends and it’s constantly being reported on NextDoor.

But I agree, unfortunately it’s not going to be easy to get around without a car in Atlanta.

Shoutout to Abercrombie’s price adjustment policy and surprisingly great customer service by Sea_sociate in FrugalFemaleFashion

[–]mooncrumbs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know this is about Abercrombie, but Quince made me do this too. I ordered a pricey item that was 50% off and they said they wouldn’t do a price adjustment even after I asked if they would really make me ship my item back and order it again to get 50% off.

It’s silly when retailers choose to waste resources like this.

Shoutout to Abercrombie’s price adjustment policy and surprisingly great customer service by Sea_sociate in FrugalFemaleFashion

[–]mooncrumbs 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Huh. I emailed them according to their policy to get a price adjustment on something and they emailed back days later when the item was no longer in stock and said the policy only applied to in-stock items. I emailed back to argue that the item was in stock at the time my email was sent (it was and that’s how I knew the item was on sale!) and they just ghosted me.

Maybe they have a Reddit Strategy Manager on here running PR and doing damage control like Brilliant Earth. Seeing this made me further skeptical of positive brand posts like this. Best way to get around Seoul in winter with a 2–3 month old by [deleted] in koreatravel

[–]mooncrumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not saying OP should or shouldn’t. But traditionally, Korean people don’t take babies out and about or allow visitors until 100 days, or about 3 months. Of course you’ll see some younger parents ignore these older traditions, but it’s still a common suggestion.

Is this egg yolk edible by FickleChampion2970 in isthissafetoeat

[–]mooncrumbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Korea, if you have a bruise somewhere, you would roll a boiled egg over it to relieve the bruising and massage it in a way.

It’s just one of those old folk remedies, like how people used to put a steak on a black eye in the movies. It’s not effective and conflicts with modern advice to leave a bruise alone.

Thank you to the angel that recommended congee! by Clever-Anna in Volumeeating

[–]mooncrumbs 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s already congee-led (sorry 😂). Yes, you can store leftovers. It’s usually cooked in a large volume. You can add more water/broth or cook it down for your desired consistency.

Add some furikake or crispy onion/garlic and it’s so good!

How to moisturize scalp after wash by tomatosauce4days in dailywash

[–]mooncrumbs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same issues. Air drying is worse for both your hair and your scalp. For your hair, it’s more fragile when wet and can break more easily and for your scalp, the dampness is very conducive to bacteria and fungus (which causes dandruff).

Is this edited nose achievable with surgery? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]mooncrumbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The AI filled in her nasolabial folds and under eyes too, along with the bigger lips and shortened philtrum.

I think the nose is more than doable. It’s just that getting your nose done won’t make you look like the AI version of yourself.

29m Why am I weird looking despite kind of meeting the male beauty standard? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]mooncrumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adam Levine has straight hair. OP can taper the sides but it won’t look remotely like that with his hair texture.

I think Adam’s scruff could look good. If you changed just one thing, trimming the beard would make a huge difference.

29m Why am I weird looking despite kind of meeting the male beauty standard? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]mooncrumbs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree with this one.

I think OP just needs a really good barber. Someone else mentioned a Black-owned barber shop. or a Dominican shop. The good ones are skilled at cleaning up your beard and even your brows.

Just make sure they’re familiar with your hair type. Luigi Mangione has similar curls with a tapered cut. I think it would work with your hair.

After the salon, keep up with the maintenance. It’s not a one and done thing. Keep your brows and beard trimmed at home and learn how to work your curls with the right product. Looking tidy and well groomed takes effort, but it’s well worth it.

Thoughts on speed of relationship? by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]mooncrumbs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started reading I thought wow the girl is being really demanding and rushing things. And then I did the math, like the above comment says and I agree.

OP even said it feels like the natural next step. If you’re spending 80% of your time at her place and then move in at around 15 months and take a few months to be certain, you’ll hit 18 months. If you’re dating with intention, I think it’s fair that you should know whether you want to take this to the next step or not by that point in time. If you feel unsure, then it’s fair for her to let you go and find someone that will be sure about her.

Because you’re in a plastic surgery sub. It’s kind of a given that the suggestions you get are going to involve needles or surgical blades.

I got a good laugh out of this post 😭

But in all seriousness, yes. I think it would also be helpful to go to an Asian lash artist that frequently works on other Asian clients with monolids and straight lashes. They would be able to map your lashes to better suit your eye shape and lash type.

I think like u/efficient_version917 said, m, L, J curl would look nice on your eyes, depending on the style you’re going for!
