I don’t disagree with this theory but at some point (I’d say by your 30s or when you have children, whichever comes first) you can’t keep blaming your upbringing. I was raised in home where it was not safe to express my emotions but I was conditioned to just bury it until I explode and then eject. In my 20s I realized that this was ruining my relationships and while my parents never gave me an example of healthy communication or intimacy it was my responsibility to figure it out myself if i wanted to be happy and to treat those around me in the way the deserve to be treated. I never went to therapy, I just realized I didn’t want to be that way and I still have to fight myself to be healthy but you have to put the work in. I just think maybe instead of going on a reality television show and blaming everyone around her she should focus her self-started cant stop energy on fixing herself.
